Thanks alot for the breakdown 👏🏼 the Packers do a great job of developing Offensive Lineman regardless if they are 1st or 7th Round picks. We have seen that over the past few years with Zach Tom, Rasheed Walker and Sean Rhyan. I hope they can clean up his hand placement and technique so he can compete at LT or RT before he has to move inside at G. I think hes great in all 4 solid pick for the Packers 👏🏼 having the best 5 put there protecting your QB is ultimately the Goal 👌🏼 super excited for Morgan Future
Whenever high upside linemen go to the eagles cowboys packers colts and prolly a few other teams I just assume they’re future all pros

Our scout literally scoffed at the idea of this guy not panning out, thats how high the packers are on him. They likely had him much higher than everyone else

He flips his hips so well cause he doesn’t on a lot of them run plays it would be called for holding but he flips ,resets and pretty much just walks the dude off

Because Jordan Morgan was a 1st RD draft pick, I believe the Packers has every intention of putting him at LT. He has the measurables, and the athleticism to make it at LT. Coming out of college, most of the numbers (i.e. height, weight, combine, etc.) are better for Jordan Morgan than they were for D. Bakhtiari. Bakhtiari was a 4th RD draft pick.

I am going to say this because it is the sound I keep hearing . Jordan Morgan would NOT have been drafted in round 1 if the Packers expected him to play Guard . The Packers simply Do NOT and HAVE NEVER drafted Guards in round 1 . They have a draft book to go off . This is called the Ron Wolf Doctrine and anyone who is still reporting the Packers without taking this Rule Book into account should not be making videos about the Packers draftees. The Packers rule #1 on drafting lineman . Left Tackle is the ONLY position you take round 1 . All other players on the line can be drafted outside of round 1 . The Packers believe he is a LT and he is . Stop with the guard BS .

Well said man im also getting super frustrated with the negative comments and Nitt picking over Jordan Morgan being a “reach” & a “guard” hes in one of the best organizations on developing OL he will compete at LT before they move him to Guard, where ever he ends up he will be darn good thats forsure. Ppl need to look at the positives and the consistency Jordan Morgan brings to the table
@@jozaylinan6056 fr. people only care about flashy picks. CBs, WRs, Edge etc. Even if morgans turn out to just be a guard, thats also fine as long as he reaches his potential. that means we dont have to worry about the guards for 4-5 years
Of course there are exceptions to the guard drafted round 1 statement . Never should not have been used as I did and what i really meant was this...
I should have said since at least the Ted Thompson era the Packers have not drafted and made it a doctrine not to draft any o-line in round 1 that is not a LT . They wait on interior lineman until later rounds and even then they draft Centers and Tackles and convert later round guys into Guards . The green Bay way is rules they live by. Jordan Morgan is a LT . It is that simple.
