One small mistake, when the settler is chosen, after everyone has chosen their plantation, the stack is not replenished. The leftovers are discarded into a open pile, then new plantations are chosen from the face down stacks. This does make a difference so I thought I'd mention it.
Teach it correctly then. 1. The object is to fill your building area, or get victory points such that there aren’t any left. Whichever comes first. Full plantation or out of money does not end the game. 2. Mayor deals out colonists starting with himself and only when one is left on ship takes it. Not the other way around.
Great job. I looked at a lot of videos and yours was easily the best. However per the rules (under The Buildings on page 8 on my rules) it states "A building may be moved within a city to make room for a large city". Note you cannot REMOVE a building. But I think you can move them around as needed to make room for a large building if you need to.

Can you move your plantations and buildings or are they locked in the area you first chose?
