Will is a treasure. So glad I discovered him recently. Two things: Commenters/chatters can be terrible. Toxic people have to find ways to vent that negative energy, and it's awful. Secondly, I really hate that streaming content is basically turning into TMZ for nerds with drama and feeling compelled to comment on drama just for views. I miss the days when that wasn't the majority of Asmongold's content. Now he spends endless hours commenting on drama, reacting and proselytizing, and at that point I just tune out. I'm a 37 year old man, so probably a good bit older than your average Twitch viewer. I watch streamers for entertainment and to escape, not to be involved or exposed to other people's drama. But, I guess that kind of stuff sells.

when people say drama sells, you must understand their brain capacity is small and just don't realize you can be interesting without drama. it's a real distorted and dysfunctional way of thinking that seeps itself into many aspects of society and in the world.
