We rescued a 4 year female pit. She seems really sweet, loves to nuzzle. She was in accident and lost one front leg and part of lower jaw. She gets so excited over food and will eat anything. when out walking she gets very excited seeing other dogs. Would almost think she's going to be agressive but when they meet no fight. We give her greens and fresh pet. NuVet vitamins. If she sees a squirrel ,cat, it's all I can do to hold on strong. Am working with prong collar does help. Looking at paperwork she came with she was on pain pills. Most people when they come visit they can pet her but then sometimes she act's to much and scares people but then she's sweet lover. We do like her. I am a caregiver for a lady Quadriplegic . She is bonded with Brenda and lay's with her if I'm out. Wondering about e-collar mainly when I'm out in public some people pet her other times it's like no better not try. Thank you.
Ecollar training is an amazing way to establish clear communication with your dog. Especially if you find yourself losing control in high arousal moments. Here's a link to my Ecollar course that covers everything you need: go.doggettstyle.com/ecollar
I think my australian shepherd has anxiety. She has that same look as you when we are out in crowded or loud environments 😂. I normally get her to tuck under my seat or move her around to a less crowded area.
Aussie's are bad for anxiety but also pent up energy. Sometimes the working lines have a hard time with 'pet life' and would prefer to be in the country. Did you see the video I did on 3 Products for Reactive dogs? Those suggestions are also really helpful for anxiety

Think excitement. He knows when I turn up the street to where I take him swimming. Than he starts loosing it.
