Addition:
With a mass of 1.02 M☉, Sirius B is estimated at 5 M☉ during its main-sequence.
Formula: T=(M/L)*10k(where k is the percentage of H in mass that can be burnt dring main-sequence)
Roche: r1/A=(0.49q^(2/3))/(0.6q^(2/3)+ln(1+q(^1/3))) (where q=M1/M2)
Sirius A will lose 1.4 M☉ during the Red Giant period.
However, Sirius B is unlikely to transform into a type-1a supernova due to its distance to Sirius A.
The key uncertainties are the speed at which mass is lost from the giant Sirius A, whether the material that lands on the white dwarf explodes on contact, and whether enough mass can be collected by the white dwarf to get close to the Chandrasekhar limit.
In order to explode as a supernova, the white dwarf must increase its mass to close to 1.4 times the mass of the Sun, known as the Chandrasekhar limit. It seems unlikely that it will be able to do this unless the wind from the AGB star is even slower than expected, especially as the orbit of the two stars will widen(oops I forgot) as mass escapes from the system as a whole. Even if the white dwarf were to capture this much mass. --astronomy.com/magazine/ask-as...

Planetballs are basically same to Polandballs(Countryballs), the difference is the character, not countries, but space objects including stars, planets, moons and even galaxies.

You're right.
As an astronomer, I absolutely love this animation, it's so accurate
Hey??? How is it being an astronomer??? I wanna become one too in future
@@laniakea3393 it's not easy, you need to learn physics first and a crap ton of math.

You know, I looked back through videos, and I realized something. It so happens to be that your first star(s) otherwise known as this exact video, is the first time the stars are included by themselves. With no planets along with them. This so happens to be on the same date of when my video of this similar format came out. Which was just the future of Sol.
It makes me wonder... Are you me? Or am I you?
*Watching your videos fills me with determination*
Oh look a fellow Undertale fan
Woah are u the biggest asteroid
@@PBR--mg1xt WRONG.
Asteroids are potatos, and they tend to lack water. I'm actually composed of 25% water, making me more like a comet.
I have a hydrostatic equilibrium, which asteroids don't have, like Eros and several other asteroids. This means I have a spherical shape.
I have layers within my geosphere, which typical asteroids lack, with Vesta as an exception.
I even have an atmosphere, which asteroids are unable to retain.
This is why dwarf planets are unable to be considered asteroids, comets, and other non-dwarfic objects.
Wdym your the biggest asteroid
In the asteroid belt, also i need hydrogen
@@PBR--mg1xt NASA literally calls me a dwarf planet. I'm just not fitting for the catagory. Funny thing is that when DAWN arrived, it also carried what you called me before; an asteroid.
It seems to be this trend when the actual classifications are ruled out about everybody's opinions. Newsflash: Opinions do not decide an objects designation.
So yes, Pluto is a dwarf planet. Not a planet.
Yay you’re finally comeback :3
I subbed! Love you're animations 💖

SIMBAD The system

Sirius (/ˈsɪriəs/) is the brightest star in the night sky. Its name is derived from the Greek word Σείριος (Seirios, lit. 'glowing' or 'scorching'). The star is designated α Canis Majoris, Latinized to Alpha Canis Majoris, and abbreviated Alpha CMa or α CMa. With a visual apparent magnitude of −1.46, Sirius is almost twice as bright as Canopus, the next brightest star. Sirius is a binary star consisting of a main-sequence star of spectral type A0 or A1, termed Sirius A, and a faint white dwarf companion of spectral type DA2, termed Sirius B. The distance between the two varies between 8.2 and 31.5 astronomical units as they orbit every 50 years.[25]
Sirius appears bright because of its intrinsic luminosity and its proximity to the Solar System. At a distance of 2.64 parsecs (8.6 ly), the Sirius system is one of Earth's nearest neighbours. Sirius is gradually moving closer to the Solar System, so it is expected to slightly increase in brightness over the next 60,000 years. After that time, its distance will begin to increase, and it will become fainter, but it will continue to be the brightest star in the Earth's night sky for approximately the next 210,000 years.[26]
Sirius A is about twice as massive as the Sun (M☉) and has an absolute visual magnitude of +1.42. It is 25 times as luminous as the Sun,[13] but has a significantly lower luminosity than other bright stars such as Canopus or Rigel. The system is between 200 and 300 million years old.[13] It was originally composed of two bright bluish stars. The more massive of these, Sirius B, consumed its resources and became a red giant before shedding its outer layers and collapsing into its current state as a white dwarf around 120 million years ago.[13]
Sirius is known colloquially as the "Dog Star", reflecting its prominence in its constellation, Canis Major (the Greater Dog).[19] The heliacal rising of Sirius marked the flooding of the Nile in Ancient Egypt and the "dog days" of summer for the ancient Greeks, while to the Polynesians, mostly in the Southern Hemisphere, the star marked winter and was an important reference for their navigation around the Pacific Ocean.

Shut uo
You just copied and pasted that from Wikipedia,
The best part was
"Let's collide"
"HELL YEAH"
Yeah Sirius B wasn't always an white dwarf since It was once an B type star in Its life.
That's why the star is called that
@@gamering2354 Lol no. In systems with multiple stars, they name them in alphabetic order, A,B,C.. etc. Thats why they are called Sirius A and Sirius B. Just like Alpha Centaury A and Alpha Centaury B.
@@gamering2354 that serves better as a joke
Ok but B-type stars turn into Neutron Stars
Sirius B was like Bellatrix on its earlier life...a blue star that was bright but not massive enough to become a Red Supergiant
Sirius a: are you *sirius* about when you decided to be a big star?
Sirius b: *ARBITRARILY RIGHT THEN*
I like this style of animation better than the new ones

Mass : 5xSun
Size : 3.5 x Sun
Type: B5V
Would be very sweet if we still see Sirius B on its younger years...
Then Sirius B will be our Brightest star in Sky..
Its originally 100 times brighter than Sirius A so on nightsky it will be as brighter than Venus..
Wait but Sirius b is the size of About the size of Venus? Venus is 12104km and Sirius b is 11000km
@@Sandwich4406 sirius b was probably billon times bigger than Venus. Idk where did u get those numbers
@@tekquare like 1 year ago I searched up on google and it said 11700km and I watched some size comparisons that said it was 11,000 and 20,000
@@Sandwich4406 Venus is a rocky planet. Sirius was a B type star. You might have saw Sirius B as its current state (white dwarf) that are core of dead stars. Sirius B today is the size of Venus but in its main sequence its used to be billion times bigger than Venus.

B Type Star when white dwarf: not dead yet
Love ur vids
Sirius A is the brightest star in the night sky, I wonder how bright would be Sirius B before it became a white dwarf
It would make Sirius even brighter in the night sky. Probably the most brightest and luminous star in our sky to the point it may be visible in the daylight.
@@dillantervet9055 there was a Blue Giant named Adhara Class B2III mass of 12 Suns and Luminosity of 38,000Suns..
4.7Million years ago it approachs the Solar System closest by 34 Light years.. Adhara's Immense Luminosity gained over -3.99..
No such star will ever again regain or Exceeds that Magnitude for another 500Millions years
Sadly today its now far away over 430 Lightyears now were just left with Siruis
@@messier8379 lucky it moved far away as 12 solar masses is enough to go supernova. B2III means it is an red giant that is experiencing an blue loop hence why its blue not red. It will expand to an red supergiant then supernova
If it were at its brightest and at its present location it would have apparent magnitude of something like -10 although this is a very rough estimate
Awesome video.
Damn, quality has definitely went up with this one.
Corrections:
1.Sirius A have no mass enough for a type IA supernova
2. Why is Sirius A so small? It gotta be a white dwarf, not so smaller than Sirius B, the almost same size as Sirius B
3. Sirius B is going to fade to black dwarf, not expanding
4. Sirius B can't be that small after red giant
Anyways good vid man!
Nice One there!

🏭🔥🏭 INDUSTRIAL SOCIETY AND ITS FUTURE 🏭💯🏭
▶️Introduction ▶️
1️⃣. The Industrial Revolution 🏭 and its consequences have been a disaster 💣 for the human race. They have greatly increased ⬆️ the life-expectancy 🙏 of those of us who live in “advanced”. countries🇺🇸🇬🇧🇫🇷🇩🇪, but they have destabilized society🌋, have made life unfulfilling 😭, have subjected human beings to indignities 🙈, have led to widespread psychological suffering❗️🧠❗️(in the Third World 🇸🇳🇵🇸🇸🇴🇿🇼 to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world 🔥🌳🔥. The continued development of technology will worsen the situation 📞➡️📱➡️⌚️➡️❓. It will certainly subject human beings 👨💼👩💻👩🎓🕵️♂️👨🏫👨🎨👰 to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the natural world 🌲😢🌳, it will probably lead to greater social disruption 😱 and psychological suffering 🧠⛏️, and it may lead to increased physical suffering even in “advanced” countries 🇸🇬🇨🇦 🇪🇸🇸🇪.
2️⃣. The industrial-technological system may survive 🍃 or it may break down 🍂. If it survives, it MAY eventually achieve a low ⬇️ level of physical 💪 and psychological 🧠 suffering, but only after passing through a long 🕐🕑🕒🕒🕓🕔🕕🕖🕗🕘🕙🕚🕛🕜🕝🕞🕟🕠🕡🕢🕣🕤🕥🕦🕧and very painful 🤕 period of adjustment and only at the cost 💰 of permanently reducing human beings and many other living organisms 👨👩🦰🐼🦁🐷🐸🐱 to engineered 👷♂️👷♀️ products and mere cogs ⚙️ in the social machine. Furthermore, if the system survives, the consequences will be inevitable 💯: There is no way of reforming 💭 or modifying ❗️ the system so as to prevent it from depriving people of dignity and autonomy🔓.
3️⃣. If the system breaks 💔 down the consequences will still be very painful 🤕. But the bigger 💪 the system grows ⬆️ the more disastrous the results of its breakdown will be, so if it is to break down it had best break down sooner 🔜 rather than later 🔚.
4️⃣. We therefore advocate a revolution ✊against the industrial system 🏭. This revolution may or may not make use of violence 🔫; it may be sudden 💥 or it may be a relatively gradual process 📈spanning a few decades. We can’t predict 🔮 any of that. But we do outline 🔲 in a very general way the measures 📏 that those who hate the industrial system 🏗 should take in order to prepare the way for a revolution ✊ against that form of society. This is not to be a POLITICAL 🏛revolution. Its object will be to overthrow not governments but the ecoqnomic 💰 and technological 💻 basis of the present society.
5️⃣. In this article we give attention to only some of the negative 👎 developments that have grown out of the industrial-technological 🏗📱 system. Other such developments we mention only briefly ⏱or ignore altogether. This does not mean that we regard these other developments as unimportant 🚫. For practical reasons we have to confine ⛓️ our discussion to areas that have received insufficient public attention or in which we have something 🆕 to say. For example, since there are well-developed environmental ♻️ and wilderness 🌱🌳🍃movements, we have written 📝 very little about environmental degradation 📉or the destruction of wild nature, even though we consider these to be highly important ❗️.
