Thank you for the video. I've never played a Tekken game before but hope to get into it with T8. What makes Paul unique to other characters? From what I've researched, characters like Jin/Kazuya have wave dashing, bryan has his "Taunt" thats unblockable, what does paul bring to the table thats unique? Is Paul an easier character to learn/start the game with?
I love that your new if your new my channel should be perfect for you I post sets, combos, defense guides and requested videos so make sure to subscribe. Now what paul brings is insane damage and comeback potential since he does so much damage that's really all he brings is damage he also has a lot of defensive options to get out of pressure, easy and consistent combos so he's very good for newcomers in my opinion
Bryan is not as good for newer players because of the execution barrier but since this is your first Tekken you should player whoever you think is cool ignore tierlists, ignore all that shit play who you feel looks awesome and learn the game with them ❤️

I know you said to ignore tier lists, but in your opinion, is paul a character that will always be playable in tournament due to his consistency and damage output? @@N1twoN12 His inputs are very unique as well as his generic tools a generic df1 is supposed to be a fast mid Bryan's is slow and df2 is supposed to be a fast launching mid bryan has a fast mid elbow poke everything he has for a generic is unique to him and his high damaging combos can be difficult if your not used to frequent forward back inputs
@@N1twoN12 and paul's defensive options include his f1+4 which is an evasive shoulder that he can use at minus7 which is insane, he has powercushes like b1+2 and df2+3 he has a fast magic 4 and that's excluding defensive options like backdashing and sidestep which his backdash and sidestep are very good
how do you do the grab at the end of the combo?
It's wr2 it's a elbow that transition into a slam not a grab like kings shinning wizard but yeah fff2 or wr2

I just one day decided I wanted to be able to do it so I practice it for a full night until I got the timing and after that night I was able to do it lol practice practice practice bro 😂

That 4 hit combo on the wall that 111 damage should be nerfed a little.

@@Speedy937gaming Looking at the screen I feel like that shoulder could be blocked, King doesn't seem stunned, I don't know why does it consider it a combo. Though.
That should be tested on a fully responsive opponent.

@mayorc yeah even if it's not guaranteed that f2 which is the move where he grabs your head and slams it into his knee is still insane since you gotta free mix after and are in heat with access to a launching deathfist frame trap but we will see trust you will see it in one of my videos on release lol
Did they really just make qcf3+4 a much easier to connect launcher.
Basically yes bro you can even do 3,2 or df4 it makes me annoyed because I was actually able to pick up the combo sometimes in t7 I worked to get that execution now its not special because everyone can do that shit now it's sad tbh
@@Speedy937gaming yeah, it was pretty much a specialist combo, lol I can't even pull it off in an actual game, nor consistently in practice. I recently watched Multi's video and noticed how everyone he played against was nightmarishly aggressive. There's barely any demerits to pressing so much now

I'm a content creator it's not a was of time I was max rank day 1 Plus these are extremely optimal that's half life off of a qcf1 let me see you replicate that lol
"content creator", got all chars to warrior in those days and you cant be sure if things are optimal since there werent enough time and no frame data. Kaz df3+4 on its own does half life and replicating those aint a problem. We will see when tekken 8 is out for a couple of months
