It is my dream to be able to build an outdoor aviary for my birds. I have 17 adult cockatiels and im handfeeding 3 babies right now. There are 4 pair in nestboxes with eggs. Its taken a couple yrs to get to the point of having this many mated pairs . I also have reg size budgies,1 English budgie, a goffins cockatoo thats 23 yrs old ,a senegal, a 6 mo old sun conure, and 3 lovebirds. Its amazing how tiny the budgies and cockatiel chicks are at hatching. I had a budgie that laid 14 eggs her first clutch. We had 9 to survive, i had to start pulling from nestbox to feed after the first few were about 2 wks old. They grow soooo fast . I love your aviary and your very beautiful birds. 😀💗thanks for sharing

Very nice video. Zebra Finches are such happy little birds. I really like the diamond doves.
I really want this dream come to true for me but my parents won’t let me because they keep saying they are hard work, that’s just excuse for laziness if you ask no thanks to fucking automatic technology
Nice cage keep in touch and keep making videos parakeet budgie house
Wow they are all happy looks great .... Good job
support from india
do you ever get complaints from the neighbours from the noise? i personaly think it sounds beautiful but some people can be arseholes with things like this :(
Thank you. Subscribed. Your aviary is awesome.
So i set up a Separate cage for my male. During the day they are often out in a small room in which i hang out with them thruout the day. So my idea is to separate them during feeding times ( the female pushes him around when it comes to food mostly ) and atnight for sleep and then allow them to be togsther when they are out i think this might be my best option. Thank u for replying to me!
what temps can cockatiels handle safely? did you ever have to cold weather protect them? I am southern GA, USA, but it still have 2 maybe 3 months of chilly nights.
Cockatiels and Budgies are very hardy and can handle temps down to about 3-5c for short periods. Mine have an insulated shed to go inside when its really cold :)
Do you notice much difference in the personality types of the different kinds of birds that you keep?
Hello. Yes very much. The Budgies are little bullies sometimes but overall are quite friendly. The Cockatiels are gentle giants. The bourkes parakeets are very passive and active even near night time. The zebra finches are always active and chirpy. The doves are similar to the parakeets. The canaries are similar to budgies in that most of the time they are fine but sometimes they can fight.
That's very interesting. Thank you.
Nice video
Your zebra finches look so happy and healthy! Great job 👍
Just wondering do budgies or cockatiels ever eat fish? I want to know because I want to have an aviary with a pond for the budgies and tiels possibly with fish in them
Diamond_Coop Reilly they only eat Plants als Stuff drin plants
We are remaking this aviary into a better one! Have a look :) th-cam.com/video/ZnJ3ktJ6zZY/w-d-xo.html
Your birds are so beautiful! I’ve never had birds, besides ducks, but I hope to have a cockatiel in 2018!

Love your birdies I would be living with them
Yes they are adorable :)
Do you face any problems keeping budgies and cocktails together?
Yes I did. I had to get rid of the cockatiels as the budgies disturbed them.
Will you have my 3 birds plz I am to old now
Its been long over due but here is an updated tour of my aviaries :)
Nice
The birds are so beautiful!
Can zebra finch and Budgies be in the same aviary?
Also, what type of natural plant do you have in the aviary? Thank you!
Budgies and zebras can live together as long as the cage isn't too small
Nice video

Hi sir I have a doubt . In Ur aviary how is the result of zebra finches breeding.
Very good. One nest had 6 babies. In total we have 30 babies.
@@BudgieandAviaryBirds oh its really Awsome. ...I luv to here
@@BudgieandAviaryBirds what food do you give for Ur finches

Wow good maintained colony. U hiave so nice colour of budiges and cocaktails.......
And your camera qualtiy is too good bro
Is it rare for a budgie to be light yellow and have a grey/blue mixed-ish color on their bum and lower belly?
nah
Parabéns, lindos seus pássaros!!!
That's a good concept....
I Like that.... amaizing breeding .... I hope next time I have it
i love canary
me 2 they are a challenge to breed but very rewarding when you do and their song is lovely.
I have aviary ... cockateils and finches. Can I put budgies also?? If they dont harm baby finches and adults too... please guide...
not for breeding - budgies are destructive and destroy finch nests and also disturb nesting cockatiels
@@BudgieandAviaryBirds thanks alot...I will not put budgies..as cockateils and finches are living together calmly
...
What a fucking mess

At 2:08 one canary or finch type of bird comes and sing melodiously. Can you tell
me which variety of finch or canary is there?
That is a canary :)
@@BudgieandAviaryBirds Sir🙏🙏

I love it.....😍
its so awesome
I can't wait to get back to raising and breeding parakeets I use to have some I breeded that was albino with red eyes , had cocktiels to of all kinds and had almost every breed of finches in avairies but had to get rid of all when I moved
Very beautiful .
But I have a question. How do you protect your birds from the cold in the winter .. I have birds and I find a big problem in the winter .. Can you please help me 😔
You need a heated shelter. I use an insulated shed. :)
I saw a video of someone saying that each Bird need its own bowl of Food. Is this true? Me and my dad are getting birds soon😊
The more the better to avoid fighting :)
@@BudgieandAviaryBirds thanks!
Wel done
very nice good luck with the birds..
Nice
can I have pairs one of those.. really love it,
Love that ..great
Thanks :)
How often do pairs not work out? I have a male and female and while i dont want to breed them my female seems to be slowly getting more and more aggressive with mt sweet souled male. Is there a certain amount of this that is normal and when is it too much? Id really like to try and keep this pair together they preen and have coexisted since november.. But ur advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
If the female is aggressive then I would separate them. I've had pairs just be friendly and not do nothing and then have babies after 2 months but if she is aggressive then get her out of there.
I was reading some articles and the female i am referring to is all pale yellow the cere has always been pink. I read this type of budgie could be confused as a f emale? I am now wondering if maybe o have two males on my hands? Lol so confused now.
Always LuvLee certain mutations have a pink cere if male :)
Very nice ...
Thanks :)
