I purchased land and built my first home in 2022-2023 . I got 6% interest rate and this was because I was able to lock my rate in for a year while the home was being built. By the time the home was completed in 3/17/2023 the interest rates were here around 7-8 percent. I since sold the home and unfortunately I don’t ever see myself being able to do another home build because the government has spent so much money and interest rates are not going down at least 6-8 years. These kids better take up… I’m 45 and I thought that by this age things would be smooth sailing but it’s actually harder than when I was in my 20-30s. If these kids want a lifetime of hardship and hell, keep voting for the Democrats…
