Beautiful!!!!! I think I will start trying covering the lines in my portrait coloring books and see the difference. I am going wait until Artex goes on sale. Thanks for sharing!❤
Love this!!! I bought the other dual tip Arrtx acrylic markers and I’ve been trying to use those up before buying these but, idk now lol! Love your cloud technique of covering the top using white and the gray on the bottom, genius!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!
Hi honey !! Oh really? So happy you liked that !! Lol !!! I love showing lots of different things you never know what will speak to people !!! Happy coloring to you
Hi, I always learn so much from your videos! I have the other Arrtx set that you showed in the beginning and also the earth set from Tooli Art. I really like the effects you can get with them. Do you have flip throughs of all your Olga Goloveshkina books? I just got a Alice in Wonderland book, so I would like a different one, but I couldn't find flip throughs. Enjoy your colouring ❤
Hi Maia, I am new to paint pens I just got a budget set Mont Matre ones and I am liking them a lot, they have a flexi tip. Because I am a newbie that basically only uses pencils I have a question, What is the difference between an Acrylic marker and a paint pen is there a difference or just another name play by the makers to confuse? 😊
Hi Deborah !!! Oh yes there is a difference, the nib is basically different and so is the ink . Acrylic paint pens have a nib that you have to prime and shake the pen, there is a small ball inside to help mix the paint when you shake it, the ink is or paint is generally more opaque. The acrylic markers dont need priming, pumping or shaking and the paint or ink inside is generally a little less opaque. Paint pens can clog up and dry out the nib but markers dont have that problem. The markers have a felt spongy type of nib. The paint pens have a hard plastic nib. Hope that helps !!!
@@coloredbymaia6476 Thanks Maia for answering my question, that helps me a lot as I want my paint pens to be opaque so that I can cover up things I don’t want in the picture.
Hi Maia, I really enjoy your channel. This video, like others, is great and very inspiring. If I can, then I have only one request... I would appreciate it if you could show the covers of the books in which you color. Sometimes I look for them after watching to purchase for myself and that can help. Thanks, Galit
Hi Galit !!! Oh yes I’m so sorry i didn’t show the books in this video , usually i try to always show the book covers of whatever I’m working in because people will always ask me, but this time i didn’t have time to edit that in and i forgot to show it when i was filming the clips. Ill definitely try to always have the book covers in the future !! Thank you for the feedback my dear !
Maia!!! I have set an and b already in my basket along with 178 other items 😂. Thank you for sharing how you use them. As always your work is amazing. How many wips do you have? Love from your friend in the UK 😊
Hi Carolyn, the differene is the ink. Alchohol ink is translusscent and cannot cover up stuff, it is not opaque and it bleeds through the paper. I love alchohol markers and use them a lot , i have a few oloring update episodes showing how i use them . Acrylic markers have an acrylic ink in them which is opaque and can cover up stuff and go on top of things, and it does not bleed throught the paper so i can use it on double sided books. I would wait and progress a little in my coloring journey before getting acrylic markers, alchohol markers and pencils are a great place to start and master first. Happy coloring !!!! As always feel free to ask me any questions !!
Hi Neecy !!! Alchohol ink bleeds through the paper but dries fast, waterbased dont bleed through but are more wet , paint pens are opaque because it has acrylic paint, not an ink. Paint pens have to be primed, but acrylic markers dont
I enjoyed watching you and listening to you! Thanks for sharing your tips. I too enjoy these markers!💕💕

Omg tell me about it !!! My wishlist wont stop growing !!! Lol
And i have wayyyyy too many wips you have no idea !!! Lol
Wondering if I need these, I use my alcohol markers a lot, seems like they achieve the same results. What is the advantage of acrylic over alcohol. ❤️
