Hi Ken and thank you for your vids. I was looking at your website and wondering what you would recommend as a starting point. I'm just starting with animation (2D) and I'm guessing that your animating a basic acting shot would be it but I'm not sure.
Hey Bill! "Basic" would be good, but it may get more in to CG workflow than you are looking for. I would say the "Attitudes and Acting Beats" series (3 vids: "Attitudes...", "Breakdowns..." and "Lip-Synch...") would be a good place to start. They are more strictly character performance based, and can apply to any medium, I think. Maybe check out the first one and see if it's the insight you're looking for.
