Was kinda hoping they would use the Odradek scanner as an underwater propeller and push Sam like a speed boat, doesn't matter if it drains battery, it could be fun. Missed opportunity. 😂
Once you take the boat to the second map, you can't carry anything back to the first map. You can teleport, but things in your possession are put in the private locker in the knot city before you teleport to the destination.

Wow! It is interesting how much of mapped ground is there. I really hated invisible walls while playing.
Hopefully they will include a water vehicle in DS2. Something like a hovercraft or a jetski.

When you are doing these, once on the ground why dont you load the charrier with the heavy stuff to walk?
Yes, but only on flat or downhill sections. The crater and land going west is bumpy
