Im glad you liked the attack guys, I know I had to involve myself in order to keep the battle flowing, but yeah, the bridge was an issue to the Russians. Id say thats the reason the Ukrainians could hold them back.
you should do just a massive battle against the Germans using Americans like d-day

More than the t80, the russian tanks, as they did an excellent job of running over their own infantry.

These would be much better if you didn't DIRECTLY ALTER the battle when it doesn't go your way. If a unit get knocked over and it blocks a path, find a way around it. If a unit is getting a lot of kills on the enemy don't move them or stop them from firing it completely kills the atmosphere when a magic god player comes in and makes that unit disappear out of nowhere.
Yeah, but the AI in this game aren't exactly good at fighting threats sometimes, even when they're supposed to be.
Promachos Athena i had trouble with a custome fight i made once i had the d-day ohama beach map i used germans and englishetc and the entire battle were misses from both sides
for next ep they should make this map at night and the russians sends speical forces to attack behind the lines

I like this type of video better where you skip right to where all the troops are deployed and all the vehicles are setup and let it play out for the most part without interaction. For the bridge you had to intervene, but for any other type of battle, instead of spawning in more reinforcements, just have them all in position ready on your command.
I'm really loving this series a lot, keep it up Diplex.

What this series got 100% right is that VDV will be used as a canon folder and die in the most silly and preventable way possible.

Nothing but beautiful, although it did feel kind of weird not seeing you set it up this go around. Still, this was great and kind of what I was hoping for in Feodosiya. Keep up the good work Diplex! :)

I saw some Baracks behind, some reinforcements for Ukrainians as well as artilery should be available from there. Its an ambush after all ;)
And good deployment of troops, realistic Ukrainian doctrine, with "AT" dug in Tanks.

He's using the cold war mod, the original game is set in WW2 in all theatres, the Men of War series is a brilliant set of RTS WW2 games, I'd get the German Soldiers Mod to get most out of the WW2 era adding many new vehicles and new factions. i'd also recommend Sir Hinkels Skirmish Maps mod, they're brllliant with friends, you really have to work together.

Loved it. I love all of the men of war videos I have a few ideas for a battle or two. One is American delta force is air dropped in to rescue Ukraine soldiers from Russian territory or a US convoy of Bradley's and armed humvees enters and secures a town and fights off an attack from Russian special forces. I know you might not read this but if you do please consider one of theses options. Also MORE OF THESES!

From the physics I know if 2 tanks go close to each other and interact the one will go under the other making the other one flip on the other side but it wont jump in the air like a maniac

great series so far diplex the only point I have to dispute is you should have sent the airborne units in first behind Ukrainian lines to attempt to secure the crossing.
Nah, you seen what hapened. The way it should have hapened is convoy is trying to cross, with infantry in trucks, and artilery in the convoy, they open fire infantry jumps out and runs for cover, tanks try to pull back or hold the bridge, while artilery is trying to run behind to provide long distance support. They call for reinforcements, no troops are nearby, only some airborne troops are available, but they need an apropriate landing site cleared and secured. So the Russians have to push towards the construction site, if they secure it they get reinforced, if not, then they dont and have to pull back.
true but from a strategic stand point the problem was no matter how many troops you pull over on the bridge in a vehicle or on foot the defences eg. the T80 and garrisoned troops will destroy them, By strategically placing the Russian airborne units the Ukrainian right flank was defenceless no artillery no AA giving plenty of drop positions with heavy cover for the infantry giving them to fronts to distract the Ukrainians along with using the gunships at the back as cover for the bridge crossing, sort of like the Normandy landings with out the major beach landing and the gunships.
William Bull If a tank is the thing holding back others from crossing, then he could stay while Infantry scrambles towards nearby buildings, near the landing site, and shoots troops and choper as it lands. There is a reason why that isnt done in real life.
Now of course, this is a game and so on. But realisticaly speaking he should have garisoned the buildings with infantry on "hold fire" orders, let the Russians get in and get infantry over the tanks gun depresion and its over.
Muhamed Husic - Ibrukic realistically Russians wouldn't send in that many troops or tanks first you'll get the fighter bombers then a ridicules amount of special forces dropped by aircraft with heavy gunship support but as you say this is a game.
Back to the game thou by moving the infantry your giving the Russians more direct targets e.g. the T80 will be out gunned 4x T90 Vs. 1x T80.

i also have men of war assault squad, and was wondering what you use? is it a ingame editor? (i havent played much of assault squad) or is it something you have to download?
go to your men of war files on steam and there should be a file called mow_assault_squad_ed
make some scenarios with the Vanilla game.

I think that you should use soldiers such as snipers for the Ukrainians as it would be more realistic, their advantage would be local area knowledge so you should try and portray that!:) awesome video as always!

next time fill the hole map with soldiers in good positions in the town and have the helicopters fight by themselves and watch the magic unfold that would be cool, you have relatively small fights and i dont know if your computer would be able to handle a large scale battle but it would be cool!!
