This Beautiful tiny little country could've been Africa's Paradise. So small and easy to develop, but since socall independence in 1965 it's been riddled with IMF/World Bank depths and grans. With thieves and embezzlement sitting on top of the Gov't. As a Gambian I love this country more than any other. The people are so nice, friendly and welcoming but corruption has hold back this tiny country!

Corruption is obviously a big problem but it is everywhere and not just in the government. Also a President with vision and ideas is needed. Yammeh refused a free bridge to be paid for by the EU, to Senegal because he thought it would stop Senegal invading or some stupid excuse. As he found out to his cost it only takes less than an hour to overthrow his reign.

Thanks for bringing us this information. You always bring us good content. I have been to Gambia about two years ago. It was dry season then, and very dusty. I had to wear a mask every time I went out. The sun there is no joke there. I came back to the USA about six shades darker. I understand that many countries are affected by climate change. We have to do our best to adjust and adapt.

There has always been a rainy season in TG and hopefully that will continue. .I would be interested to see how the drainage is working along the Bertil Highway near Tropix mall

Just huge congestion where too many vehicles are trying to use the roads at the same time. People panic because the weather conditions are different from normal. It’s similar here when it snows traffic builds up and the roads become congested fast . Bad tempered people driving from lane to lane definitely doesn’t help . Best option is to turn the radio up sing along and you get to where your going eventually.🤣👍

If you blame this government, who I don't support by the way, then you should blame the two previous governments too because this problem has been there from time immemorial and no one has addressed it.

Churchhills town year in year out same issue & they still can’t fix it what’s wrong with the authorities in this country, I’ve never seen such a useless government. Simple logic cut passages between that concrete that separate the 2 lanes and water from serrekunda side will flow easily to the other side simple freaking logic.

Build a better drainage system. The problem is a proper drainage system has ti be in place an outlet for the rain water to flow through thereby mitigating the dangers of flooding

Your thinking is a big part of the problem why The Gambia is still a tragedy. You keep the system in shambles and silence those who talk about it because they a better Gambia. The Gambian security that you want to arrest him help you and the other corrupt people to destroy the lives of the good people of Gambia.
