How to make the Airfix 1/24th scale Spitfire MKIX Engine covers removable

This is a really easy solution to the Airfix engine covers falling off. This modification works on current builds or one you completed years ago.

I've seen them used with good results for sure. I just find the way I did it considerably easier to do and can be done as an after thought
