Had this on a brand new 700 in 25-06 about 1972 or 1973. No movement at all. Had to return rifle to Remington for a new bolt. Their guess was bluing solution not cleaned and the spring rusted in that blind hole.
Seeing all of that brass that has flowed into the ejector plunger and probably the firing pin hole it makes me wonder what kind of pressures the owner is running. You might want to mpi the lugs and breech just to cya.
Everything with the lugs was good. The customer had told me that he had only used factory loads. Nothing going above necessary pressure. However, he told me that he had never cleaned the firearm. That is just years and years of brass fouling build up
Love your videos but please turn down the background music down!!
Thank you, and noted lol! Just posted a new video with no music other than intro and outro for ya
Just cleared my stuck ejector
Thanks!!!!!!

Quarter in the vice, then a dime in the slot. That minimizes the gymnastics.
The dime slot is in later models than this one.
@webb-cast1030 you can still use the dime even though it has no slot, just pull it a bit farther.
Good video but the music

Brownell sells Firing Pin Assy tool, would eliminate the coins.
stick a dime in the notch after you pull the tension off
Good tip. Thanks 👍
My man you have got to buy that tool! Watching the quarter trick was eeesh.
I know it 😂
Par-cord is much easier.
I see you skipped the part of where you had to take the bolt to a gunsmith to get the ejector, spring, and pin back in lol 😝😝😝
😮sounds like rapppper music.verrry eratatin.
shear effect on extractor, brass flow around ejector pin... I see danger somebody better wake the F up quick
this video could have been no more than 4 mins. long and then people would watch it .
@Nick-wn1xw you proved my point !
