    Silvarret: Professional Weenie Designer
    The alternating real-time/time lapse flowed really well; I’m enjoying this new series a lot! Also, as a big Theme Park World/Theme Park Inc player back in the day, this game is totally doing it for me.

    It's crazy to see how much you have grown in your scenery style. Telling yourself to hold back from putting to much scenery and now on the taste of adventure pack you are spending hours upon hours on it! I have recently finished your parkitect series and I'm sad to see it go. Thanks for the super entertaining series!

    Parkitect is the game that made me found your channel. At the time I was playing it and searched some videos to have some ideas.. and my mind blowed, because of the things you created on parkitect and I began to watch all the RC videos.
    Nostalgia

    • @Silvarret
      @Silvarret  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's awesome to hear! I had to keep my ideas for this game bottled up for a while since I didn't want to make any videos of it until the campaign came out, so I'm glad to finally come back to it on my channel - and hopefully, it'll make my channel a bit more alive again too.

    I wasn't expecting you to play the scenarios, but this is awesome and a nice break from the ultra realistic planet coaster builds.

  • @MateriaGirl
    @MateriaGirl 6 ปีที่แล้ว +58

    Combining a speed build with a full play of a scenario...what a compromise! I gave up on full plays because I couldn't be creative while trying to be "on" and interesting. This is a really good comrpomise although I know I wouldn't want to record entire plays and have to speak over that much content anyway.
    This is WAY more interesting than other lets plays, which are pretty droll because they have to actually focus on the game.

  • @TrickyPlaysGames

    How this game was made by such a small team is something that blows my mind. It's what a lot of people wanted in themepark management games and they nailed it :) Nice to see what's possible with this game in your videos.

    Hey Silvarret, super cool idea for a series! I like it a lot, might even get me back to playing parkitect myself. I do have a tip though. Since this series is more of a let's play than talking about architecture, it has a more laid back feel to it. I, therefore, suppose some background music while playing. I don't know if the in-game music is good enough for this, but maybe some cheery, not too loud music may bake this series better!
    Let me know what you think!

    • @Silvarret
      @Silvarret  6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I actually had some background music, but I now realise the volume was way too low. Will turn it up for the next episodes! (And try to pick some music fitting the theme of some specific scenarios)

      The weirdest thing is still, that the whole park was themed after their candy.. I still can't get over the fact that they actually named their candy "Dog Farts" or "Sewer Sludge". Who comes up with stuff like that!? Love their mascots for the candy and park though, they're... Unique at least. Hahaha. Great candy, weird names and mascots, mediocre park.. I miss the time when it was actually owned by the original company and they had a candy/lollipop-workshop. ):

    This is incredible! What a beautiful little park. I really love your design work and especially like to hear your experience working with the scenarios. Gonna have to watch a few more episodes now :)
    I wish I was able to do scenery like this. I always end up literally only focusing on the economic/logistic area of these games and my parks always end up ugly, yet functional. I just don't have the creative talent for it I supppose. But it's really satisfying to watch a talent like you.

    Tip: spinning cars will mess up the station waiting time by entering the station at differing orientations, taking anywhere up to 3-4 seconds to reset its orientation before it can actually unload/load guests and start the minimum wait countdown-ruining any smooth operation from precision block placement.
    A way to fix this is to separate your station into separate exit-only and entrance-only stations along a straight track, so cars spend all their time reorienting themselves in the free time unloading guests and waiting for the loading car to set off. Exit-only stations are not burdened with minimum waiting periods like loading stations are.
    A setup like this can easily fit as a 3 tile long "station" blueprint, and be sorta realistic operating too-just needs some scenery mock up to bridge the two station tiles together. >'v'

    I had this game for quite a while. Since I really liked Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, when I first saw this game somewhere on TH-cam I knew I wanted it, but didn't have the money right away and forgot about it again. I was really impressed by your Sedonia Hills Park and finally bought the game, but miserably failed to get any character into my sandbox parks, so I forgot about it again. But this video got me to reinstall it and I had so much fun with the first scenario and I am really proud of my little park, even though my park didn't look this pretty. But the scenarios was exactly the thing I was hoping for too be good. Since I know now who created at least some of them, I am really exited to see all of them.

    Bought the game in early access, loving it. Also got Planet Coaster, but Parkitect is more my thing. I guess because in my youth i played the original Rollercoaster games and this reminds me way more of those then Planet Coaster. Also the graphics leave more to the imagination, were planet coaster is a beautiful game and very realistic looking, but i prefer this style. Both are great games and glad we can play more then one game these days after many years of not having any but the old games to play.
