Scud oem exhaust is tops. No need spend money on aftermkt. You are so good at pulling engine, id say drop engine and replace all seals and do clutch job while ur there. Something somewhere leaked on that diffuser. Thats gotta be resolved. Need more details if ur gonna sell it. I trust ur car sales more than most because we get to see you actually wrench on it. I also think that the Scud must not be converted this would be a BIG CRIME. The Scud is perfect the transmission is already fast than the regular f430 there is no need for conversion. Its a special car. You made a right decision Dan.

Dan, I have a 2009 Scud with the gray wheels also. Do you have the Ferrari Paint Code for redoing them? I think the clear is a semi gloss finish??? Also, why not just polish the PPF. If it has never been polished before it should come out very nice.

I AGREE NEVER CONVERT A SCUD! Dumbest suggestion anyone can make. My Scud had the exact same right hand side mounting tab come off the small center grill on the rear diffuser. It just needed to be glued back on. And yea, leather was an option on the Scud. Mine has the alcantera interior; on the dash, and headliner. I got lucky that the previous owner had the local Ferrari dealer do the annual service, install new tires, and brake pads just before putting it up for sale. Good Luck with yours!

Rented a 2017 F-type this weekend in Hawaii thinking it would be special. Sorry, not even close. Rented a 04 911 turbo earlier which had better performance, throttle response, exhaust, suspension and ergonomics (and no fake noise) despite the dated interior. I bet the F430 beats both?
This car looked good from a distance but upon closer examination it turns out that it has lots of issues. I don’t understand how someone would pay Ferrari money for a car and then not take proper care of the car.
The Ferrari's check engine light came on. So? Put it in the driveway and let the neighbors look at it. The Ferrari still fulfills its primary purpose, driving it is secondary.
Agree on (non)conversion comments. Every single person who makes those has never driven a Scud. In terms of mods outside of exhaust, I would recommend the extended carbon fiber paddle shifters and antigravity battery. The exhaust and the battery will take 80 pounds out of the car alone. Other than that the thing is perfect.

The PPF is yellow due to age, you can't polish it clear
