Honestly, it looks like it already is! I remember there being other train mods out there, but they never really looked right. Super exited to see where this mod goes!
@Brick City Central That's not the immersive railroading mod, nor our resource pack. That's the shader he has installed. You can turn it off in the optifine settings.
A great video, I am glad you enjoyed my map. I must say that I am suprised that you where able to travel at such high speeds, and still have the map load up without problems. I have not seen that before. If you ever want to check out the map again, then I would recomend to travel at lower speeds. It will both look better, as the track and curvature is not made for that speed, and you will have a better opertunity to watch the scenery go by.
Awesome job making them, coming from someone of Portuguese descent 👍🏻 Any thoughts into making more of them? I bet some Intercidades carriages would go well with the 2600 class. I know I would not mind seeing an Alfa Pendular, a Lisbon tram, or even the steam locomotive D. Luiz, either 😋
The numbers on the side of the „IC“ are the class. So first class and second class. The „DABbuzfa“ is kind of a identification code, to classify that waggon.
I think they should have a derail part where if the trains go to fast on sharp turns they derail and then destroy some of the ground when the derailed trains lands on the ground.
The 1 and 2 on the Intercity Train is for first class and 2nd class. The double Deck train is called regional express (or Metronom meanwhile in at least northern germany)
The A1 train is quite famous in the UK... it's called "Tornado" and it was built as an entirely new locomotive (not a restoration). It's also very fast...

The way that those bells glitch out almost reminds me of the Doppler Effect... This mod and resource pack looks absolutely freaking beautiful! I just wish there were a way to custom paint some trains. It would be amazing to have a Generation 1-style Astrotrain from The Transformers.
By the way, you actually can lower the pantograph on many caternary locomotives by using the paintbrush. It acts as a tool for that as well as livery changes. Amazing showcase video!

I wish there were more voxel options for locomotives and rolling stock. Those high-poly models most people produced are absolutely killer on even good rigs (Blame Java for that) and in addition to that they fit in less with the style of Minecraft than these voxel locomotives. I love the style of Rails of War but it doesn't have the grandios of Immersive Railroading.
There are some other voxel packs out there, but they don't include real trains. Our pack is constantly growing, and hopefully we are able to create most of the trains that people want. Next update there will be way more Swiss and American trains. I think this will be the only voxel pack that will have what people want ngl.

I would be amazing if there was like an auto mode, where a train will follow along a track and maybe a trigger can go on the tracks to stop the train for a certain amount of time for example at a station. And maybe other controls to set points, and set engine to reverse. Would be cool to have stuff automated kinda like a large scale model railway
Perhaps a bit late, the only automative train mod that I am aware of at this time is the Minecraft Transit Railway which features custom automative trains that can be scheduled. Most of the content within the Minecraft Transit Railway is based on Hong Kong's MTR Metro system. However in the beta packs of the mod does include the us R179 emu subway cars.
the reason the big boy stopped is because of a glitch where trains can't move on un-rendered tracks. also you can zero the throttle by pressing 5 on the number pad
Holy crap I've been away for too long, I remember using the rails of war mod and some other train mod back on 1.6.4-1.7.10 and haven't really played since
I had the same problem with trains not moving when another locomotive is couple to them, and the reason was, the other locomotive's brakes were on. So if you use more than one locomotive on a train, make sure all locomotives' brakes are off, otherwise the train will not move.
i know im late , but legit question , can the freight cars be loaded with loaders and transferred blocks into for long range transport ? if yes , can the tankers be loaded too ? i legit want to tweak the oil spouts from 2 of my mods to make them bigger and have more oil and have those trains transport it from the oil pumps to my oil treatment plant to make fuel and other stuff :)

Too Bad they dont have Indonesia Train beacuse they only fit in Cape Gauge (1,067 mm Gauge) Same Rail Gauge that Japan, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, and Philipines use

The big boy was slipping because you still had the brakes fully applied in the other locomotive.

Cape Gauge is really only used in Queensland, everywhere else it’s mainly Standard, with Victoria and some of SA using 5’3” Irish Broad Gauge.
The Number on is the First class from this train. Same on the second car Witz the number two
