Made me sad to hear the interviewer interrupt Amy :( but always great to hear her thoughts, even 20 years later! :)
If you don't read all the time and write everyday with discipline, don't plan on getting anywhere.
Even if you don't get published, because many don't, instead, give readings at the library, at meetups, on-line, so people hear you, as you will resonate with someone.
Even if you get published, you'll more than likely not have many buy your book, especially nowadays.
But, main thing is, you've freed your heart and spirit.
Küsschen und Grüße an den Kurs EN302~♥ Und an alle anderen, die gezwungen werden dieses Video für die Schule zu kucken. t(>.
Her books are amazing!!!!!!! ☮️💟
Say what you will about Charlie Rose' s interviewing skills, but he has interesting guest.
interviewer: why do mothers and daughters have difficulties communicating?
conveniently and condescendingly ignores all the terrible communication between fathers and sons
When I hear “model minority” all I hear is “assistant to the regional manager.” A title that is meaningless and doesn’t really open doors.
interviewer is so annoying, he got no patience to listen
Agreed. I admire Amy Tan's grace in responding without rolling her eyes. I'd be like, "LET ME FINISH, JEEZ!"
