Thanks Dave, good video. Quick and to the point. Hilarious comment about a “faff to get off” concerning the connector; I laughed to myself for a while with that term bouncing around in my head.
Hi Dave, great vid, want to upgrade my 2012 LR4 taillight reverse and fog lights to LED bulbs, any idea what bulb number it is? I’ve found conflicting info
What about the LED lights? My Discovery has the same lights as yours. Went to 2 car shops today and they couldn't help me with the LED lights on the rear. There are 2 circle clusters on each unit. I have 2 gaps meaning, 2 of the bulbs are out on the cluster. The shops don't stock them! What's the deal with these cluster rear lights? Do I need to replace the whole unit? Or can I get individual led bulbs? Both shops said led lights shouldn't fail and to take the car to the dealer! Also I noticed tiny condensation in the unit that the 2 led bulbs are out. I'm unsure if a need to buy a whole cluster of these led lights or a whole sealed unit or can I replace them 1 by 1 if need be? And where do I get them? Price? Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you.
The only option is to replace the whole unit. It sounds like it’s been cracked at some point and water has made its way in. Prices range a lot depending if you got to a LR dealer or get a used one off eBay. Or you could get an after market which will also be a lot cheaper. Good luck

Good video for changing bulbs but it was the “faffy bit” that I was looking for as I need to replace the unit due to smashed lens 😂

@@DipstickDave Is that the same for the rear side marker bulb? There is no way to remove it like the reverse and fog light bulbs?
Yup, they are fixed leds too.
