The lyrics in this video are wrong, but you got the ups and downs right about the song 😅. Most of their music is a combination of multiple genres, they blend them together so well that even if it's not your style of choice, they do have a little bit of everything that you can appreciate their art. The lyrics are poetic and the lead singer (named Vessel) writes all the songs and plays all the instruments except for drums when recording in the studio. They have two members who play the guitar and bass for the live shows, but Vessel is the mastermind behind all the music and lyrics. Man is a musical prodigy and just downright genius. You should check out Granite or Aqua Regia. This band has so many styles it's hard to pin them into any one genre. That's what makes them so special. Enjoyed your reaction. Must have listened to this album 100 and 100s of times since it came out. everytime i listen to it, i hear something new, that makes hairs stand up. never gets old.
Their music has always given me chills since even their early EP's and singles. Their covers are what I saw first and then i discovered their original music in a rabbit hole of underground music (at the time). I just wished and prayed more people listened to them and for them to succeed cause everyone deserves to listen to amazing music. Great video!

Sleep Token has no genre. They're all over the place. Even crazier, they're basically just 1 guy. (Vessel) He creates and records all of the instrumentals except for the drums, on top of dropping deep, deep lyrics in a way that I didn't think words to go together. ST has changed what I thought I liked in music. You're in for quite a journey with this band. I recommend listening to "Granite" and "Take Me Back To Eden" next. "Aqua Regia" and "The Apparition" are among my top picks also. Honestly though, you could pick out any song from this album as the whole thing is fire start to finish while telling a tear-inducing story of a tragic and toxic relationship.
