I try to like this Spirit, but the more I play with it, the more I feel it's overcomplicated for what you get, like compared to Green or Stone, those are equally strong in my eyes, if not stronger, but are much much easier to play and without days RNG. In this match for example, what would have you done if you wouldn't have gotten Cast Down, instead some card that couldn't insta-win you the game? Great match as always.
@@AT-tm8dk Assuming that would have been the case, and specially for a great player like him, sure. Still doesn't change my point about the heavy RNG factor with the days, I've had very easy games with this Spirit just because I got lucky with the days and that's it, others felt awful with the draw, I rarely find something in between with Fracture.
Don't forget Fractured Days is a support spirit. When there are more spirits, your slips get consistent power without having to rely on days that never were.
@@tedsmith9726 I'm very aware, but I'm a solo player, so that has no value for me. I guess I could play several Spirits by myself, at least on tabletop which is where I play, but for the time being I don't want to get overwhelmed by having to manage several islands and potentially complex spirits, since those are my favourite to play. Thanks for the comment.
If Days are bad, you just draft other cards. Just like other spirits. So RNG is quite the same. You don't have a game winning innate (such as Stone), but a lot of spirits don't have that (such as Green).
It’s interesting how taking a bit of time off reduces your confidence and mastery. Happy Thanksgiving!
"I did it! I protected the island!"
The island: 12:18
