I have hope for that ole guy, reminds me of how my dad used to be, couldn't do or go anywhere without a beer first and always singing country....but eventually after I had my daughter and before COVID happened he has completely quit and is the best grandpa and dad since. Sending prayers for this man that he will find his own reason to change his life for the better!!

I am at 13:25 in the video and while I am not familiar with the journey life has taken this man on, I am absolutely moved and awestruck at just how happy this cowboy is! He literally has the tattered clothing on his back and a few personal possessions and he is honestly happier than most people who have it all in this life! I'm at 34:36 and I love you guys for going back to COWBOY. The first video I watched a hundred times and when he said he don't want to be at home because of his wife being gone I am the same I have moved 3 times after loosing my mom, my dad being put in a nursing home. It's to much to see the places the people you loved not being there. I just hate that he drinks to cover his pain. And that is why... But I love cowboy so much. Please, please help him and show more of him. He is a pure sweet heart who is carrying a lot of pain. I see joy in his eyes when he is white you guys. Love you all.... People talkimg about his addiction problem, dont understand trama, addiction and lost. Cowboy is cowboy this is him. I dont see Rehab and other resourses are going to help him. Someone like this you help them day by day. And let them be happy for what they do have.
But who is actively helping the family day to day to be happy despite addiction harming their family?
I mean, it is cute when he is saying he ran away to be homeless because his wife number two it seems died. But also, it is no special trauma nobody else experienced. It is a very common trauma absolutely everyone has to deal with in life several times. Every break up, every divorce, everyone losing their loved one or a child experiences trauma, and most on repeat. He got taught to drink and chose to go with the family tradition, because it makes him feel good. I grew up in such a family. Some people know exactly how it is. Oh sure, there is lots of laughing and good mood, but you grow up scared, knowing that super happy mood can switch to aggressive from one second to the next. Why not stop it for your family? Only the ones choosing to become an alcoholic too feel it is fun. Not that people even call it being an alcoholic. Getting drunk every day is just normal. What trauma? The others experience the trauma. Thank you for understanding.
Rehab will definitely help rather then actively providing a addict with their addiction lol

He’s an alcoholic let’s admit the fact. He definitely doesn’t want to try and stop and I’m sure whatever money would get managed. But would that be an issue on his end? Knowing he has all that money? He does seem like he has a short fuse in certain cases.
I LOVE THE GUY! And I definitely do want to see him better. But it is going to be a challenge and a lot more than just some encouragement.

I have an aunt who is addicted to meth. Before she went to jail she looked like a zombie, like legit sunken eyes, picking at her face and skin just horrible overall. She went to jail ( for some crazy shit 😳) for several months and then was sent to a halfway house. She did amazing! She got out got an amazing front desk job. Got fat! She was super skinny before, so just seeing that was amazing to me. Then all of sudden about a year later she relapsed.
It’s hard to overcome an addiction but I guess in terms of it. Atleast he isn’t addicted to meth or anything worse. I have 2 family who have passed away due to alcohol in some way and my grandma basically messed up her liver from alcohol and started coughing up blood to a point.
Point is addiction is hard to overcome by and I pray that this man gets better because he does seem like a great person with alot of dreams. but again we all still don’t know his full story.

I am teary eyed watching this because it is so heartfelt. I’m an RN who works with a lot of homeless patients, and I can tell you this man is special. He has a beautiful soul, but addiction can be tremendously difficult for some people. Cowboy has an exceptional tone to his voice and he has so much passion. Brennen, thank you so much for this video and the way you care for this beautiful human!

This is such a good hearted video! However, this man is hurting really bad from his alcoholism. The Taylor brothers are going out of their way to help him out and get cowboy some new clothes and tried to feed him and unfortunately he can’t even seem the least bit enthusiastic or care about it until he gets some booze first. His mind is soo preoccupied about alcohol that probably after brennen left he was probably more appreciative that he was able to get some free beers. It’s really sad because that’s how addiction makes you think. I agree with the other posts that a go fund me page for rehab is the best thing for him. Getting a new guitar is the least of his concerns at this point. Love the video tho! Regardless of his situation that was Such a good thing to do for him ❤
I absolutely love Cowboy, don't get me wrong, but the man needs rehab for his alcoholism and people in his life who won't enable him. Maybe then he'd be in the right frame of mind and actually go back home instead of suffering in the streets.

This was hard to watch and not in a good way. The best thing you can do for that man is get him help. If not you're only enabling him. He said he has a home in ohio and just cant go back because of his passed wife which sounds like he chooses to be on the street which also sounds like a mental issue. Brennen is trying to help. In the US getting someone "help" is not just available so easily, you can't just check people into rehab or therapy or whatever especially if they're homeless or have little money and they don't want to go. It's not that simple.

Man ive got to say that cowboy is a very genuine guy and i hope he gets off the street. When i get a big job done im gonna have to go to Tennessee and find him and help him if hes hasnt got off the street by that time. I live in arkansas and uts not a very long drive to get there. I love you boys and have been fans for almost a decade. But this video has really really got me sobbing. I'm a 45 year mother with 1 son which is my everything my every breath. My husband passed 7 years ago after 23 years being together. I feel for cowboy so much because I know for me my life has paused and time has stood still since the day he died. If not for my son my guardian angel beautiful son i would have gone to heaven the day he died. I list my mom my husband my 2 dogs and brother all with in a 10 year span and it hurts like you feel your own heart breaking inside. I pray that cowboy can be with his daughter and family again one day and I'm so grateful that you boys have shown him kindness and compassion because when your breaking inside and turn to alcohol just to ease the pain of loss alot of people look down in you and dont understand. Thank god for you Taylor bros and i pray for all of yas❤❤❤
