    Welcome to my new weekly video series. Please leave any feedback about what you like and what you don't.
    If you are curious about any particular subject around the handpan, let me know as well and maybe I'll make a video about it. :)

      Excited for this series, David! Thank you for passing down the knowledge. Could you please make a tutorial sometime about how to do this roll technique in the beginning of Kabe's video? It looks like some variation of split hand-- I'd really enjoy some exercises to practice this :)

    Hi, David! My name is Sidnei and I´m from Brazil! I´d already paid a ordered handpan and selecting websites or channels that would help to understand how the handpan´s work. Your channel is the online one I could think in the first place. Once I found it, never made another search about handpan! Tks, man!

I LOVE IT. Danke an David!!! LG Frank

    Achh, you know you are just showing off! LOL! Truly, your music is beautiful. I am a beginner. A very beginning beginner, haha. I hope one day to achieve your skill, techniques, and speed! Deine Musik ist Wunderbar! I am a new subscriber now too, btw. Looking forward to tomorrow's (Friday's) video. Anything for us truly newbie newbies. I know, I know, we are WAYYYYY behind you. But seriously, I just got my first handpan, my first drum ever. I'm 55. I just lost my Mom, my everything, and I have nothing to do now, but time on my hands, and I'm hoping to learn this new hobby, hopefully, it can help me meditate too, to grieve...... Thank you.

    Hi David! Thank you for your video tutorials! I am a beginner, and you help me to practice and learn to play on this fantastic instrument. Sometimes I have a little difficult because my handpan is E minor and not same as your instrument in videos. But is not big problem. Many thanks for your help and teaching! very clear video with good exercises to work our way to a perfect technique. thank you.
    can you make a similar video for the double stroke roll where you do the exact thing only with one hand... specially how to use the pointer and middle fingers to do a roll? my finger strength and timing is horrible. I tried doing it slow and ramping it up but i'm having difficulty.

    This video is incredibly helpfull!! Thanks so much!!! Being a beginner...I still lack ideas of good transitions from one pattern or rhythm to another to build up a complete composition. • @DavidKuckhermann
      @DavidKuckhermann  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the suggestion, it's on the to-do list!
      When I practice, I usually reserve a certain time for technical exercises and some time for musical experimentation/improvisation/composing as well, for me it always worked well that way and I could look forward to the free part while I was doing my exercises ;).
