  • In part 2 we actually weld with all the different gas mixes on 110 v power. You can skip part 1 and jump right to welding 😜

Awesome video brother. I use 75/25 and 90/10 for spray. I tend to like the 75/25 if I had to pick one gas so I can do thin metal to thicker. That fronuis 2200 is a cool little machine. Happy New Year... Jay

Welding Junkie Happy New Year Dude!!!! I see why people buy 75/25 since it covers a wide range and isn’t too bad on thicker parts

not going to lie man the spray arc didn't seem that smooth on the start Maybe it was your feed speed or it was jamming up from your gun angle but spray arc off 110 is pretty impressive that is if you have expensive 5% oxygen gas but what will it do with .045 wire

Adam Z Yeah I noticed that on the start as well... Thinking about testing further on each gas to get the best results versus can settings. On video 3 I show all the gases in spray on 220 v . Thanks for watching dude ðŸĪ˜

MilkyCereal83 which fronius machine was that? what kind of voltage range can you run on mild Steel with .045 wire and is there and open setting to where I can just hook up the gas set the wire and voltage to what ever I want. it looked to be limited on some settings to like 395 wire speed on one setting if remember right and you couldnt pull full voltage. I can achieve spray arc on a Lincoln 256 with 75/25 gas believe it or not. .045 wire 26 volts and like 450 wire speed. I have done 28.5 volts and 600 wire speed 90\ 10 gas .045 wire and Got A Cleaner weld with less spatter. ever done vertical down 1\4 inch gap bridging with spray arc? I would like to see it lol

Adam Z I’ll have to look at the voltage setting for .045 wire and yes you can put it to standard mode with volts and wire feed independently. Fronius has a 110/220 unit which is called a TransSteel 2200 and then a 220/480 unit which is a TransSteel 2700. This would be similar to your Lincoln 256. Check out video 3
