An almost "perfect" quartet. The "square" (4 movs.) shows almost 90 degrees at each angle, and even the "pain" of the 3rd movement fits with the reality that is a sine qua non condition of being human. Magna cum cura ad curam. Grazzie.
The beginning of the title melody of Winnetou is just 1:23 - 1:28 of this string quartet. This quartet is marvellous for its being deep and settled at the same time. The playing is downright radiant.
The butterflies and butterbees ate too much honey and now the jar is full loosen the lid let the noodles out flap your wings the dogstrophe is near i fear lets dance together in the velvet purple snow tip the dawn breaks under the weight of its own importance
wow. the sound is beautiful even in mp3? over the computer.

The wonder of the piece is matched by the extreme quality of the players.
This is amazing! I love This quartet! Is absolutly beautiful.. Breathless!
Does anyone know the painting that is used? It seems to match this beautiful piece of music perfectly!
artwork by Stefan Fiedorowicz, no name given. It is a gorgeous painting!
