This is nonsense, because you still have to buy the battle pass which gives you so many skips and and xp boosts that it is simple. For those trying to grind and earn it....nope! I already unlocked everything and bought the battle pass but haven't gotten some of the items.
So you basically get a new weapon/operator and a random item every 4 tokens. Nice to receive some extra stuff over time, but I'll never purchase the battle pass lol.
To be completely honest, it's the exact same as previous battle passes. Same amount of rewards... limited rewards for people who do not buy it... they just made it look fancy for 0 reason LOL

If it weren't for the fact that now weapon blueprints are so evenly spaced out that you need to burn through many levels just to get at them. Oh, and of course "good" free blueprints are obviously locked in higher tier sectors.

What I don't quite understand is the "Free" items. I would get the free items if I didn't buy the pass. But if I bought the pass, I need to use a token on a "Free" item when I shouldn't need to. That's very counterintuitive.
You have to use the token to buy the tier regardless of if you have a battle pass or not. The game is just saying "This reward, from the tier we will give you 'free' with no battlepass but the other tiers you have to buy the battle pass to claim this reward." If you just keep in mind that no matter what you have to use a token to buy the tier then it kinda makes a little more sense, i know i had a difficult time when i first started as well under standing how it all worked.

i dont think so.. HOWEVER you can 100% gift currency on each specific platform. so an xbox gift card or a steam one etc. but the battle pass isnt considered DLC or anything.. its an in-game purchase that require cod points. hope this helps!

I bought the game with battle pass included, so i haven't seen this system without the battle pass. That's why i was so confused about the FREE rewards.
What I don’t understand is you get an option to pick your own rewards and go on a certain path to get to 100 percent battle pass / tier completion but do you lose out on any rewards I don’t know if I made any since
If you complete the entire pass, like getting to level 100 in the pass previously... you won't miss out on any rewards... assuming you purchased the paid version.
If you are on the free version, you will only 1/5 rewards for each section. This will give you 20 rewards total inside of 100.

Solution: play more 😄 . I understand what you mean, but let me know quickly explain how you are thinking about it wrong.
Let's say you play enough to unlock 50 rewards. On the old system that would lvl 50/100 on the battle pass and you would miss out on 50 rewards. On the system that is 50 tokens /100 and you miss out on 50 rewards. Sucks for both.
HOWEVER, you are missing a very key thing here. On the system, lvl 1-100 in a linear line... you don't get anything great if you only make it to level 50. most of that stuff was lvl 80+.
BUT, with the new system... you can save all of your tokens until the end of a season... see exactly how many you have... and then right before the season ends, you simply look through all the rewards and pick the sections that get you to the stuff you truly want. 5 tokens per section, you work your way through and make the best path with the budget of the tokens you have.
So although this new system feels worse for the free reward track... for those who purchase it, it's actually a much better system.
You may not have played enough to get everything you want... but you can prioritize the operator's or weapon blueprints you want most... and spend your tokens working towards those.
I kind of even forgot what the original question was... but hopefully this makes some kind of sense and helps haha 😄
@@craiglabone2165 reading this back I think you are confused about how sections work?
100 total rewards, 5 per section... 20 sections. You start at the bottom and have to unlock all 5 rewards in each section to unlock connected sections. To unlock all 5 rewards you need 5 tokens.
So you cannot just simply go for blueprints or operator's persay. You can't pick just 1 reward from a section and move on.
You could pick 1 of the 4 basic rewards in a section and nothing else if you didn't need that section fully unlocked to make it further in the pass. But you have to unlock all 4 minor rewards before you can unlock the major 5th reward... the one that appears on the map.
So looking at all the sections and figuring out the best path to get all the major rewards you want is the play... and the after that, you can cherry pick some of the minor rewards from sections adjacent to your path... without having to waste tokens on everything to fully unlock the section.

Unfortunately, you have to buy battle pass to use them. Anything free you can use without battle pass. It's kinda BS, but hopefully, as time goes on, the devs will realize they're greedy and include it in.

There are actually 5 per sector. You have to unlock the 4 small boxes in that sector to then unlock the 5th "main" item shown above the 4 small boxes. Unlocking that "main" item will then open up your ability to move on to adjacent sectors.

No. It means you haven't bought the battlepass to use those items. You can only use the items stated "Free" if you have not bought that battlepass.

with the battle pass u get vehicle skins, gun blueprints, skins, cod points, xp tokens etc, 50 tier skips i imagine probably just gives u 50 tokens to spend on the battle pass, its very much the same as how bp have been in the past, 100 tiers except now u can choose which path u wanna take to get to that 100th tier, 1 tier = 1 token

It's the exact same as it was before when you break it down. Before there was a straight line of 100 unlocks right? Now there are 20 sections of 5 unlocks. Each section has 5 rewards you need to "purchase" with your tokens... so previously where you would just level up your battle pass... they made it manual. You have to actually unlock the rewards now... but other than that it's pretty much the same. Just unlock one section at a time and eventually you will get all 100. Hopefully this made a little more sense!
I am fairly new to this game and bought the whole battle pass and a few bundles. My problem is that I don't seem to have received any of them. Is there something that I need to do in the game to allow me access to them? The game has taken the coins for the items but as I said I have not seen them or been able to use them. can anyone be so kind to tell me how to "Unlock Adjacent Sectors". I have quite alot of tokens but I can't unlock anything until I have Unlocked Adjacent Sectors and Completed HVT Contracts I think
each section is 5 tokens, not 4. when you click into a section, there are 4 small boxes... and 1 large one up top. unlock all 5 with tokens, it goes gold, the sectors it touches turn green, repeat :)

You won't be able to buy S1 battlepass with free CP? It costs 1100 cp and you can only get 1000 free cps. Is this true or is there other ways to get cps?

lol. I’m super dumb. But, I just need a simple yes or no. Do I have to pay $30 every season? Or does the $30 battle pass a one-time purchase and you get the paid battle pass every season? One time $30 is reasonable. $30 every season is ridiculous. Literally can’t find that simple answer anywhere.
This is how it works: buy 1 battle pass. Then play enough to get get to level 100 in that pass. This will reward you with enough CP to buy the next battle pass and a few hundred extra CP left over. You can repeat this every single season and never have to pay real money for a battle pass again.
You must remember that you will need to spend CP each season on the new pass... AND you have to level it up to unlock all of the CP to be able to buy the next one.
So yes, you can buy once and have every battle pass after that.

???? its not disgusting at all. You have to PLAY the game to get the thing in the game. You do However NOT HAVE TO PAY to earn the thing.
I believe you are confused on how it works. The guns are completely free to earn. every new weapon in MW2 and WZ2 will always be free to earn.
these 2 are free from the battle pass. Earn the tokens by playing the game and unlock the sections to get access to the base version of those 2 weapons.
M13b is completely free and earnable DMZ. Either by killing the chemist and extracting with the M13b he drops.. Or by simply killing another player using the weapon and extracting with their weapon.
The chimera is also completely free to earn. You can either get 2 player kills using ANY assault rifle in any of the modes; DMZ, Warzone 2, Or MP (this of course costs money). Or, you can get a building 21 access key from dmz, then go to building 21 and kill the boss who drops it... and extract with it. Or, just as the M13b, you can kill another player in DMZ using the weapon and extract with it.
