These were great but I've never driven beyond going to Walmart... I really need coaching. I'd love another series that actually goes over how to train. How to take corners and why. How how to break and when and why. Racing basics est.

As someone who's never done iracing, yet after 2 years of begging my wife just spent almost $11,000 ordering a Twisted Tech Racing Simulator, I have a question,because now im wondering if I made a huge mistake. I just want to race open wheels,late models,street stock, and Nascar. Did I understand you correctly that I have to get certain licenses and achieve a certain rating before I can do that? I always thought you paid a monthly or yearly subscription and raced the classes you wanted. I didn't know it was so much to it. Now I'm seriously worried if I made a $11,000 mistake.

I’ve been playing iRacing for about a week now and done about 15 races, my irating and safety rating has not updated at all. If anyone has any information it would help.

Make sure you are competing in actual official events. There are certain series that are unoffical and there also needs to be X amount of cars in an official session for it to be official. Also, obviously you don't gain SR or iR from hosted races or AI races either.

@@AnthonyAlfredo I’ve figured out how to do it, I’ve been in the “Unranked” Sessions and not “Ranked” Sessions. Thanks for the extra info!
