My dad worked at The Most in Pompano Beach, FL as a teen and he remembers seeing Sam Cooke. my dad saw every great singer in black America at that little club. My mom and grandmother talked about how much they loved him Sam Cooke also. He was special, I still can’t imagine how that lady shot him; everybody knew who Sam Cooke was, I wasn’t even born when he died and it was like he was alive my whole life.
