@@michaellaroche3418that’s the point when your defense can’t stop them forces your offense to press. Bucs aren’t built to comeback from double digit leads it’s not there game
Lines were terrible. Only Bucky look like he showed up. Jamel Dean will not challenge a pass at all. Bo Nix ate him up all day. Dean allows you to catch the ball at a high rate. Just like Charlton Davis. McCollum when you are down by three scores stop wagging your finger when you break up a pass. You did that twice. Coen don't run on 1st down almost every time up the middle.
This one is mostly on Baker. Plays sucked but Baker held the ball way too long. So many times he had a guy open but he wanted to make some extended plays with his legs. We barely ran screen plays to our guy white as well. Too many deep routes, no crossers for some reason. Sad day today.
I would not say mostly but he sure panics a lot under pressure. But Coen was awful once again. No screens, no crosses. But hey, he did not get help for Skule vs. Hutchinson until the mid-3rd qtr. This awful run game is also putting too much pressure on Baker, who wants to be the hero too often then as well.
I really hope, as Matt pointed out, that this game can be the best thing to ever happen to us. A swift kick in the ass to show what happens when you get complacent in this league. Awful game, hoping for much, MUCH better ones moving forward. Go bucs!
Eagles D is inconsistent. They will give a free TD to Kirk Cousins to lose a game but will limit the explosive Saints to 12 points. Its a toss on what D we will have to face next week
Right, open the game with a 1 yard run. that's a real tone setter haha. The offense should have opened with a deep ball to Evans! attack them. Demoralize them.
Sean Payton always gives us a hard time, but wow, was that a bad performance from almost everyone? Nix had forever to pass, and we couldn't tackle. I think Vitas importance was made so apparent. Bucky definitely needs to start. White 3rd down back. Thanks for the breakdown, guys. Best of luck the rest of the season
I have to admit as a fan that even I mailed in this game. I knew the Bucs tendency to make rookie and backup QB's look like playoff caliber players. I brushed it aside because I was still high on adrenaline from the Lions win. I should have seen it coming.
How did we beat the lions and now all we managed was 7 points, few starters are out but the same if not more were out for the lions game on both sides.
Here's a great analogy, Racing. The first two weeks we looked like the car that can win any race. Today we looked like a Publix shopping cart with a missing wheel entered into the Indy 500 🤨
You really think we looked good vs. Detroit? Defense with the injuries won the game, did well with backups. But the offense was awful in this game as well.
The moment Denver opted for the opening possession I knew they came to win. The good news is that Sean Payton isn't even in the conference anymore so if he's our kryptonite we'll hopefully be okay.
Welp we know what the floor of the team is. Just an awful game all around minus Bucky and Zyon who should be rb1 and cb1 respectively. Baker was terrible, no question about it. The OL and DL was worse. Liam had an awful game as well. Once I heard his quote about Tom I thought they were in trouble. Just underestimated the opponent and didn’t adjust when it got tough.
Coen has been awful for a 2nd consecutive game. Meanwhile, Canales and Dalton put up 36 pts on the road vs. the Raiders. Running White right now, as much as I love him, is just a wasted down. And that´s the reason we are 5-21 in the last 2 games on third down. The great offensive performance vs. WAS might have just been a result of playing the worst defense in football. Next 6 games will be vs. division opponents, who look better than us and vs. 4 physical teams, we rarely beat. If we end up being 2-7 in Mid-November, I would not even be surprised.
First off, if it doesn't work, don't keep doing it. I know the old saying. But it doesn't work in a game. Maybe practice get it down get the personnel right then do it in a game.
4 out of 7 sacks where BAKER'S FAULT.. it was evident that baker doesn't trust Skule protecting him. From the first drive he was rushing his progression in the pocket with ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE.. n for some reason refused to check the ball down. It's also evident he was "Feeling himself" too much after media attention.. out of now where he thought he was the best player on the team n tried to play hero ball n looked completely idiotic. Made the game 10x more complicated than it had to be..
Can you please mention a warning in your next couple of podcasts? There's a scammer out there posing as Bucky Irving. He gives a "Like" on FB comments, then sends a PM trying to get us to purchase a fake Fan Card. He doesn't even read the comments! I just saw one he "Liked" and the comment was, "Fire Bowles." No way would the REAL Bucky do that!
O line is abysmal Running game is anemic at best Wide outs couldn’t get separation all day Out coached by superior coaching talent That historically beats your ass (Sean Payton) This was an embarrassing failure i don’t think we have the talent to compete if this is the end product. Pretty much knew 5 minutes into this game; might as well keep drinking.
Gagged exact same mediocre team as before ... Everyone knew white was horse shi$ and we still start him ... Injuries doesn't mask what we saw today ... We are just another team amongst mediocre teama
I don't understand why the fingers get always pointed to coaches, Mayfield and absolutely never towards front office. While the team seated on 22 million cap space we could have signed Center Connor Williams for only 6 million, Justin Simmons for around 9 million, Chase Young for 13 million / he agreed with a $3 million cap hit to play for the Saints. We had a number of DT free agents too to provide depth in case of injuries. The problem is that we are always applauding whatever front office does and we don't admit that they do a horrible job in free agency considering that we have How much better would we be if we had Connor Williams, Justin Simmons and Chase Young today? That is the main issue. We are in our last little window to compete for Superbowl and front office only resign players and draft mediocre players because we try to fill all holes using draft picks. Our draft picks become starters but they are very often mediocre starters. If we would address needs in free agency as well, we could draft more often for talent and build a much stronger roster. We use our second round pick on a mediocre edge, we picked Barton and put him at Center when we could have signed a Pro Bowl center at a huge discount during free agency ( Connor Williams) and develop Barton as Left Guard to strenghten our O line. We could have signed Newton and have another top DL talent…. But we never do that. We had a horrible game today because this roster is spread too thin. We have no depth. When our starters get injured we are completely hopeless. Mayfield did his best to extend plays but this is impossible when o line cannot hold most of offensive snaps.
It´s the philosophy. Draft and grow your own crop. It mainly killed GB under late Favre and Rodgers. When they realized, it was too late. I never really understood the Licht love either. I don´t think he is an overall good GM. And as you said, just because we keep plenty of our draft picks does not mean that they are even good.
The pass rush, interior oline and game calling is a major concern
Forgot run game
YaYa without the interior rush sucks
Tristan has sucked for 3 games not just today
I was worried this would happen living in Denver. This reminds me of 2022 Panthers game
😢😢😢, I think injuries finally caught up to them and Payton's excellent coaching
Defense sure, what's the offense excuse?

well i guess it's back to my day job, trolling brock purdy full time 😳
Do we HAVE to always lose these stupid games that we should win to get motivated. When are the Bucs going to be consistent for once?!
Next year's draft, 1. Pass Rusher 2. Pass Rusher 3. Pass Rusher.
Fire the cannons, we’ll get em next time
We need a healthy team

But this is the NFL. This is what happens after a HUGE revenge win vs Lions. Teams come out flat. Eagles D might be tough on Baker next week.
Eagles D is inconsistent. They will give a free TD to Kirk Cousins to lose a game but will limit the explosive Saints to 12 points.

Way too many runs up the middle for -1 to 2 yards on early downs; I thought we were finally past that. Coen looked like peak byron leftwich out there
and Missing Vita Vea and Kancey is a death blow to our rush game

This week no one talked about how Sean Peyton always wrecks the Todd Bowles defense. That was the big oversight.
Justin Skool sucks
This does not surprise me one little bit!
Payton has our Number

We beat the Lions cause we got lucky, honestly. If we replayed the Lions game 20 times, we´d lose 19 of those.

Went to the game and it was a debacle! Zero pass rush and zero offense!
We lost the Trench's big time. No pass rush what so ever and terrible O-line play plus Baker kept patting the ball and being in decisive!!!!
