Let’s talk about what Celtics have overcome as a franchise:
1. Len bias number one draft pick death
2. Lose all star to heart issue on court
3. Number one free agent signing breaks ankle seconds into inaugural season, never plays healthy
4. Mercurial kyrie sits out first playoff run, basically quits in second
5. Coach is an idiot and is fired days before season
That’s a lot of stuff no one talks about.
What they built they built off the backs off kids. It was always gonna take time for this team to mature into champions. If you look at how efficient they’ve been in building this team it’s absurd.
They nailed Tatum and jb as the picks. They nailed timelord as a high risk asset, grant as a solid floor one and smart as a complete unknown. These two moves they just made are ruthlessly perfect. And the addition of white for so little when that happened was absurd as well.
I don’t think people get how good this team is yet this year. They will though. And it’s gonna start defensively.

Jayson Tatum threw up a lot of bricks in the playoffs and Joe Mazzula was not man enough to sit him down. You have to hold your players accountable. It is not every year you get the shot at a championship. Hauser and Pritchard would have shot better but that's the politics of sports.
The Celtics are one of the best if not the best team in the Nba.

Their top six are all so capable on offence, that playing decent D will be the prime issue once they commit to moving the ball and imposing their will on opponents.
JT has a wrist injury that probably should have had surgery during the off season and it’s still significantly bothering him right now. It’s going to be an ongoing problem all season. They need to replace and improve upon Luke Kornet. They need a third big who can be a part of the playoff rotation and contribute. Kornet is terrible and if he’s playing in the playoffs then the Celtics are in deep, deep trouble. I’m praying for a healthy season for these guys so we can see how good they’re able to be.

My thing with the kp injury regards. KD is always injured. AD is always injured. micheal porter and Jamal Murray are also injury prone. Embiid as well. Middleton has been super injured to. The list goes on and on. Everyt team in the nba has a stud who is injury prone
I am a C's fan but if Tatum does not hurt his ankle in the first two mins in game 7 in ECF, think the game would have been close. Not saying in any way it would have been a blow out but the Heat were close to a full on collapse. They showed some heart last year which has me feeling good about them. Time will tell tho.

This video makes no sense. The biggest question in this video is, who can pick up the slack if Tatum or Brown plays bad in the playoff.
Uh..Porzingis and Holiday, thats why they got them. Thats the hole that this offseason specifically addresses.

It all comes down to "who's up next?" If KP goes down, who fills the role? If JT goes down, can JB pick up the slack? As long as they have a plan for when they lose someone, they'll be fine.
That's what they've been saying for the last 6 years! The problem is that the duo are chokers in the semi-final and final games.
Plus, the coaches are inexperienced.

What they need is better ball movement consistency. Tatum is their Franchise player so I disagree with you on him
@@2Loco4U People make him that but he is not a leader. He has lengh and athleticism but he does not have a high basketball IQ. For the last two years, he had the ball in his hands a lot but he cannot read defenses. Last year, he improved a little in his passing but he easily falls back to his bad habits.
