Lake Okoboji NBAA/Iowa Bass Busters

After getting the W at 12 Mile for the first NBAA event, I wasnt sure if I would catch 5 fish in this one. Pre fishing was awful and resulted in my worst two days on Boji that I have ever had. Historically I am not the best spawn fisherman and the fish are transitioning into that mode. No game plan formulated I opt to go junk fishing in East/little lakes. Luckily I was able to scrape together a bag and not the only one effected by the tougher bite. Nornally you would not be close to a check at Boji with this weight, but that is why we play the game. Thanks for checking out the video. Next stop for NBAA is in June at Brushy Creek.... My nemesis.

Son and I put in Emerson last Sunday for our tournament (second place). Nice to see someone catch fish under the bridges on the lower lakes. We spent all our time on West off shore.

Do you usually prefer fishing east? I've always had better luck on west. We did good in little emmersons and back In the channels between turtle pond and miller's. Glad you got in the money tho

I fish both. West is where I try to be, but if Im struggling to catch fish I feel more comfortable in East with the dirtier and shallow water.
