Still watching this time Oct.2023 the unforgettable parade from HMTQ the last for more than 70yrs..she serve her beloved GB and people of the commonwealth countries.. RIP QE2😢
i agree only now have i come to watch the procession ,growing up the queen was the queen never thought of the day she would pass , guess we can all block things out .i really didn't think it would affect me but it has, sad to see her passing, but her send off was second to none the nation, armed forces have done her proud, it makes me proud to be British and proud of all our armed forces.
I don't know why even after 8 months I still feel emotional watching this. And I'm not even British! The British people should know how Queen Elizabeth II impacted the world.
It’s been almost one year since me, my 2009 Woody, my sister, Mummy and Woody.EXE did our procession from home with almost 8 million mourners gathered at my house to watch all 5 of us live. I’ll never forget this day for a long time
I found this more bittersweet than specifically sad. She was very old and I knew she wouldn't be around forever, but a life well lived, and she was the same generation as my grandparents who she outlived by a couple of years, so it got me thinking about them - and she sent us a letter of condolence after which I'll never forget. And the last head of state who served in WW2.
Queen Elizabeth probably had terminal cancer by November 2021 which none of us knew about but I knew. Woody.EXE knew about Elizabeth’s illness a few months before meeting me and he mentally prepared me for being Queen. We have reigned for 2 years now and still going
Every part of this procession, was remarkable. Pageantry at it's finest, planned down to the last detail. I don't expect to see anything of this stature again in my lifetime. RIP Your majesty, you led a life of devoted service and represented a set of traditions and values that many still value. The risks of moving the Imperial State Crown around the streets of London? I'm sure it was quite safe, protected by the Grenadier, Coldstream, Blues and Royals, Life Guards, Household Cavalry, the Canadian Mounted Police, not to forget the Scots, Welsh and Irish Guards, Royal Navy, Air Force, Marines, Archers and others.
We British are the only country on earth that can produce perfection with the pageantry on sad events like our queens funeral etc The Scot’s with bagpipes make it unforgettable
the Moment at 34:01 when they passed the statues of His Late Majesty King George VI and Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, its almost as if they are saying "Well Done Lillibet" your duty is done, we are waiting for you"
I’m not a royalist but I found this quite moving, she can’t help being born into it, and she stuck to it in a good way, this whole occasion was sad and also impressive

And to think that 70 years ago someone from 1953 that marched along/for King George's funeral are in their 90's to 100's and still alive today; may have watched this. Then there are children that watched the funeral march back in 1953 that are in their 70's and 80's now and remember that and likely witnessed two funeral marches for the King and Queen.

King Charles will have a very similar funeral and he is an elderly man.
The Monarch does have a state funeral so it’s possible we will see another
It's quite likely we will see another state funeral of a monarch within the next few years. Charles does not have long left.
