+Just Being HONEST And winner treats Taeyang like their Dad and iKon worships GD. I think their stage presence and attitude towards performance is influenced by the advises they got from GD and YB too which they took to heart tbh.Winner is so smooth and sauve af and iKon is like crazy af energy and attitude in your face.

와 근데 심사평에서 꽂힌 부분들 다 지디가 짚어서 고쳐준 동선이고 메이킹이었네. 아이컨택에 준회 시작 파트, 동혁이 누워서 끼부린 부분 뭐 하나 빠질 거 없이 지디 손 거친 부분.. 10년 탑 가수는 이유가 잇구만
진짜 지디는 무대에서 멋짐이나 보는관객을 홀리는방법이나 관객에서 전달하는그런걸 알려쥬고 태양은진짜 춤 노래 실력적으로 알려주는거같다 딱봐도그래..
생각해보면 양현석이 프로듀싱할 팀을 잘 정해준거같음. 만약 A팀이 지디노래 했으면 안어울렸을거같고, B팀이 태양 노래했으면 그것도 별로였을거같음

Do you really think they would let team B who wasn't prepared AT ALL to debut back then? Ofc not, only team A was prepared (skills wise). And look at them now, they are supposedly still lacking the 2%

I know how the show works and I even participated in the votings. But tell me for real if you really think that team B could have debuted back then... what would they have done with team A? keep some members? keep them all? but for what reason? to debut them after someone younger? well this makes no sense, they'd be too old. And training them would have been a loss of money. This is all business at the end.
They couldn't let this happen and even when I voted for them I was hurt cuz I knew what the results surely would be like.
But the real reason they do these kind of shows is 1. the competition makes them feel more pressure, so they improve faster 2. to introduce them to the public
Btw it seems like you don't know how do all these kind of shows work. They are always kind of rigged. It maybe will surprise you but like this, smtm is too to some extend. And I suppose UR and M&M were too.

When BigBang and 2NE1 were sitting together along with YG, it made me think that once upon a time those two groups were like team A and team B. Very nervous and reserved and weren't able to express themselves fully. Now they are sitting like they own the place (good thing). Like they are professionals and it's amazing how much they've grown

솔직히 B팀은 진짜 잘한다;; 확실히 어린애들이라 노래할 때나 춤출 때 힘도 있는 것 같고, 정말 아무 생각없이 보게되는 듯. 심사위원들이 B팀은 A팀보다 각자가 안보인다고 했는데, 아무래도 다른 방송을 통해 눈에 익은 얼굴들이 A팀에 많기 때문이기도 한 것 같다. 내가 쇼미더머니에 출현했던 바비랑 비아이를 알고 봐서 그런지 몰라도 바비랑 비아이 그리고 구준회 만큼은 눈에 확실히 들어오는듯.
After seeing WINNER debut, I finally understand why they've had a hard time during WIN. That's because hip hop isn't really their forte. They're really more suited in doing ballad and emotional songs like empty and color ring. That's their OWN COLOR! But I'm just so happy to find out that these boys are really talented and versatile! 개임적 생각이지만 비팀이 계속 이겨오다보니 자신감이 차있는 것도 있는데 추가로 끊임없이 노력하니까 진짜 멋진 무대를 만든 것 같다. 에이팀은 계속해서 늘어가는게 보이고

지금 활동하는 위너만 보고 얘네는 첨부터 엄청 잘했고 막연히 WIN에서도 B팀보다 잘했을 줄 알았는데 이렇게 맨날 지기만 했을 줄이야.. 근데 그래서 지금까지 스스로도 이해가 안됐던, 내가 왜 정말 진짜 취향에 전혀 안맞는 YG의 소속가수를 좋아하게 됐는지 알 것 같다.. 그냥 위너는 YG의 전통적인 스타일이 안맞는 애들이다.. 그걸 억지로 시켜놓고 원래 그 스타일이 잘맞는 아이콘이랑 붙여놓으니깐 당연히 다 지지. 지금처럼 위너가 하고 싶고 잘하는 걸 하니깐 자연스럽기만 하고 세련됐고 얼마나 잘하냐.. 양현석씨 말대로 A팀이 절대로 못하는 게 아니다. 근데 그 이유가 B팀이 두려워서가 아니라 자기들한테 안맞는 걸 하고 있어서 상대적으로 못해보이는 거다..

okay so here's what i think. months have passed, WINNER finally debuted and team b which is iKON right now is going to debut by early next year. i've always liked team a. i never really paid any attention to team b. i fell in love with winner right from the start they debuted. i didnt think that they were lacking anything because imo they showed their true colors to the fans and came up with songs that can move people. afterwards i watched mix & match before watching WIN and i realized that team b are the full package. personally winner and ikon are two COMPLETELY different groups and should not be compared with each other. as for dancing skills, clearly ikon wins and for vocal skills, goes to winner. i still dont get why people still argue about how winner didnt deserve to win and that ikon shouldve debuted instead. i've grown to like both distinctly talented groups. and i dont get the huge fuss about who is more talented than who. BOTH are. its just that BOTH groups just have different styles.

Although I am Team B biased (I knew them as iKON and came to see this afterwards), I am happy that Team A won cause it ended the best way possible: Both teams debuted and I am so happy for them. i can't believe no one has made a comment about this yet but the only reason why Team A wasn't winning was because they hadn't found their style yet, YG and pretty much everyone just wanted to shove "YG style" down their throats, Team B were "fit" for it but Team A just have a total different vibe and i'm pretty positive if they had found their style and sound (what WINNER is today) back then they would've won more times at least, they're unique and completely different from anything YG has ever done and current KPOP, they're refreshing as they are now, pretty sure if they had done in the competition what they do now the jury would've been extremely conflicted, so in conclusion, Team B is not better at all, they just had it figured out while Team A was still struggling to find their style and wasn't 100% comfortable.

EXACTLY!! In earlier episodes, Taehyun even said that he had to change his whole singing style to fit into YG. I feel that it is too artificial to take away someone's identity, speciality, uniqueness, and changing into something else. If they would have been given the freedom to explore and discover their own style rather than following the YG style, they could have done much better. Plus the mental pressure, constantly being told that you have to become someone other than yourself, is extremely fatal. I don't know the real reason of Taehyun's illness, but this could have been a part of the many reasons.
Seeing this ep makes me sooo proud of iKON. What they have gone through to debut was sooo tough and heart breaking. Though they did not took the title winner, i believe they are really cut out to be an ICON "iKON" :)
I agree with what GD said to Minho at the end and this is the reason why Team B are able to be more relaxed in a way. It's not because they're young and all that bullshit, it's simply because B.I has great leadership qualities. He knows at times when he needs to push the others to do better, because he knows they can do it. He has trust in not just his own abilities on what would work best but also in everyone else being able to pull it off. People use to call him harsh during MIx n Match phase and a bully but they're so wrong. He steps up to the game, end of story and this is why I believe he's one of the best leaders in kpop
In MINO's defense, he was just new to YG and trained the shortest with them. Team A was created rashly then they decided to put mino as leader because of whatv reason when he really isn't leader material. Even Zico was surprised that he was the leader haha and gave all the tips he could to help mino. All his music life is based on hiphop too which is not Team A color. I do admire BI leader skills, producing skills, and personality that sometimes I imagine what if he is in Team A, that's why I was also sad when he left. I was rooting for BIxMINO collab :(

I was just telling my husband it reminds me of the sorority days. We had a brother fraternity and the friendship we had truly felt like having siblings that got along. It was also us only and no one else could really penetrate the circle.

Why do people say Winner shines in ballads?? They suit a wide variety of genres so it's kind of frustrating to see people try to put them in this small box... I mean listen to 2014 S/S each song is a different color but they all suit Winner
+Jas A That's because they do not know anything about Winner nor care to give them a shot. It is their prejudices that prevents them from opening their heart to a group like Winner. So typecasting them as ballad is an excuse for them to not look any further. We Winner fans know they are not ballad and they can do it all. If anything they have so much more potential than even Ikon, who even YG says is strictly hip hop.

실력 좋지만 안뜬 그룹들이 많은 거 보면 잘 되려면 실력도 실력인데 마음이 끌리는게 좀 큰 거 같다 ㅠㅜ 얼굴도 알려져있으니 대중들 인지도도 높고 ㅇㅇ 저 프로그램 보는 내내 B팀이 잘한다는 걸 알면서도 A팀 응원함 ㄹㅇ
Started watching WIN because of iKon but I find myself rooting for Team A in this series. Suddenly felt like crying watching Team A's performance because of how much they have SERIOUSLY improved since the beginning especially Jinwoo! They seemed more relaxed than before. Like, you can feel their stage presence more.
Loved Team B's performance too omg Bobby reminded me how he became my bias in iKon again hahaha that rap though. Bt gotta agree with TOP, there's too much going on for their dance so I dont know where to look.
Sera C, we're the same... I started watching WIN because of Climax,but when I watched the whole episode,I started to love winner... even I repeat to watch it again.. I just feel the same... team A performs have a big influence for me...

양현석은 b팀을 더 아끼고 데뷔시키려고 했던듯. 확실히 b팀이 실력도 훨씬 더 탄탄하고 무대에서 자연스럽게 즐기는 법도 알고. 게다가 빅뱅이랑 색깔이 더 비슷한것도 b팀이니까. 근데 대중은 b팀같이 완벽한 애들보다 a팀같이 약간의 부족함이나 허술함이 있다고 해도 끝까지 포기하지 않는 노력형, 성장형 아이돌을 더 좋아하고 많이 찾음. 물론 b팀이 완벽해지기까지의 노력을 무시하는건 아니지만 이게 현실임. 아이돌은 실력이 중요하긴 하지만 그건 기본적인 실력이 없을때 얘기고, a팀 b팀 같이 둘다 기본적인 실력이 다 있는 상태에서는 누가 더 잘하냐보다는 누구의 서사나 스토리가 더 극적이고 감동적이냐를 따짐. yg 골수팬들이 아닌 일반 대중의 선택은 항상 a팀이었고, 지금까지도 더 인기있고 롱런하는 그룹은 위너임. 아이콘이 망한 이유는 비아이가 나가서도 있겠지만 그냥 애들이 매력적이지 않기 때문임. 노래좋고 실력 좋으면 뭐함? 아이돌은 대중의 관심을 먹고 사는 직업인데.
