- Christine Rohani Longuet arrived in Pulau Duyong, Terengganu in 1971. Falling in-love with the island, she also found love in a local man, and learnt how to speak Malay. Today, she calls Malaysia home.

This is just one example of our many Malaysian neighbours , schoolmates & colleagues that came from mixed parentages that made Malaysia unique , as most of Malaysians are not really came from one ethnic or believe group , we are descendants of Malaya , Dutch , Portuguese , English , Europeans , Ancient India , Ancient Middle Kingdom of China , Raja Pahit of Indonesia , Old Siam , Burmese , Arabs , Pakistan , & from other Islandic inhabitants that flourished just nicely in the right amount to make-up & united together to build-up the modern cosmopolitan Malaysia we have today! Saya pun lahir Okinawa Jepun tapi umur kecil dah pindah ke Sabah, sekarang dekat KL keje. Tapi slang Sabah masih kuat so orang KL kadang2 tengok saya mcm orang cina. 😝 jumpa orang cina kadang2 mesti diorang ckp mandarin atau Cantonese. Pegi Penang pulak diorang ckp Hokkien dgn saya.
Dengar dgn teliti, dia tak begitu fasih. Yg menetap di Malaysia dan bertutur dalam bahasa ibunda tu jgn pandang rendah. Bnyk di kalangannya dapat A dalam SPM Bahasa Melayu. 😉 Kalau umur tak lepas 50, mmg semua sudah tahu BM.
Bagi saya, asalkan masih ada org yg tulis komen camni, saya tetap akan cakap bahasa cina / BI utk membantah penyelewangan perkauman sebegini. 😂😂😂💀💀💀

Ada sesetengah org melayu bila jumpa cina / India dia terus speaking in english. Pastu dia kata dorang tu x reti BM. Tapi saya tetap ckp BM dan setakat ni semua boleh respond in BM walaupun anak2 muda cina/India kat KL. Ada yg tak fasih sgt tapi tetap boleh jawab dlm BM. Belum jumpa yg xreti ckp langsung. Contoh saya tanya remaja cina: kenapa ramai beratur ni? Dia jawab : beli tiket main ice-skating.
