      That's the plan!

    @builtbyrobrc ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Step 1.
    Get rid of foams ( unless you wanna go 170 and up
    Step 2. Get rid of gyro ( you dont need it )
    Step 3. Warm up your lipo batteries.
    Step 4. That road aint long enough
    Step 5. Higher mah batteries to combat voltage drop

      Step 0. Build the car properly so it can drive straight 😆. Honestly bro I've had nothing but bad luck with GRPs. I've been blowing my slicks non stop from 130+. Made it to 147mph here and crashed because tire blow out. Super pissed because that was the run to make 150 on. th-cam.com/video/9uGcwCZoWgE/w-d-xo.html

      What you dont like bout the foams? And i think im finally coming to grips with the gyro thing too😕

      @builtbyrobrc ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Greg Supe foams are slippery and unstable. Youll crash a whole lot more.

    If you want to do 150 don't tell yourself just do it telling yourself your going to do a certain number is bad luck car wreck breaks or anything can stop you just gear up and get the number!

    • @GregSupe
      @GregSupe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea, probably need to stop focusing on a number. Car just needs to go straight. Probably going to start practicing on 4s on thay other spot to see if i can get ut to go straight

    Happy new year bro! 😎 👍
    Are you still running the stock 0° rear toe brace? Not sure why Arrma did that with the v2, but there's a reason for that slight toe-in. It actually helps keep the car going straight. On the front you want that 0° toe, but not the rear.
    Also, make sure your hex hubs aren't rubbing against the ring around the hex on the rims. And have you shimmed the hexes to remove any play/slop from the tires?
    I saw that your running a perfect pass, make sure the delay is not set too short or you will wind up with the current spiking up too quickly. That can cause the car to lose control as it will ramp up the rpm to quickly. 6-7sec seems to work nice in my experience. I calibrate mine by removing the pinion & pulling the trigger full at once. I count as I hear the rpm max out. I then pull the data log to verify the ramp time it takes to get to 100 power out.
    How many mah are you running? What voltage sag are you getting on those batteries. Check the data log, see how low it's dipping, divide that voltage by 8 & make sure it's not dipping below 3.2, 3.1 per cell. If it's dipping below 3v per cell, you will damage the batteries & at that point, it doesn't matter how much you gear up, it won't go any faster than the total current it can draw from the lipos.
    Hope this helps!
    Keep'm Fast Bro 😎 👍

      Hey brother, happy new year to you as well. so i think i have it sorted out now, finally hit my pb of 150mph and car was running straight. Yes same stock tow angle. The batteries i used here were 5000mah, and definately werent powerful enough. Ive since swapled to Azure 6200mah batteries and its running amazingly. Heres the 150mph pass th-cam.com/video/-JpEPaeH6wU/w-d-xo.html
