Great info. Wish you would have mentioned the spring that comes shooting out an flys across the man cave though. Was a challenge holding spring back and trying to thread screw back while holding a flash light. Lol

Another great video! And, just like the last, looks like I ordered the same pad. Incredibly grateful for the tip at the end with the screw coming loose. I'll be sure to add some lock tight to both sides before installing.

I have a similar setup on my standard 2023 FatBoy. The unfortunate thing is while that pillion seat looks cool....it's a spine killer. The problem isn't so much the cushion as it is the width of it. It's so narrow that it either doesn't do a great job of damping or magnifies the force going upward. My wife is 5'2 and under 120 pounds and that pad just beat her up on rough roads. I wound up swapping out the stock pillion seat with the Sundowner Passenger Pillion seat for the Fat boy. Part No: 52400170. It's a little wider, not a ton, but just enough to spread out that force so your passenger isn't getting jolted so badly. She is MUCH happier with this seat. I don't believe they have a 120th anniversary edition of this seat though. It's black so it's not something of shocking contrast. Just a word to the wise that this is an option should you get feedback from your passenger that the back seat is punishing. I like your videos and have subscribed!

Yes by looking at it I felt it may not be the most comfortable pillion seat. Wife has decided she wants to "try" two up. We would probably only go on short local trips around town at least to start. I'm still not exactly sure what I want to do with the ass end of the bike. Much of it will depend on how much she wants to ride with me. I do know one thing, however. The stock rider seat is not the most comfortable and I am going to upgrade it. My Indian Scout Bobber had an awful stock seat and I replaced it with a Corbin saddle. I am looking closely at them because they proved to be very comfortable for me and they can also design some tqo tone color into it that looks as good or better than stock. I can also add their pillion seat which would be far more comfortable than stock. However, they are a bit pricey. I am going to take a look at your suggestion though. It's good to hear from real people and their experiences. Whatever I do it will most likely show up here so stay tuned! Thanks for the comment, for watching and for subscribing! 🤙

My girlfriend said that same thing the back seat was too hard. So i bought the sundoener wider rear seat . Much more comfortable. I'm looking to get a sissy bar but not sure to go for standard or short version .plus I'll be sending the new sundowner rear seat to get it bespoke to match the front seat ( fingers crossed they can match the red leather from my bike the 110 anniversary fatboy )

    Hey brother,
Could you please give me a link to the distributor for your Vance and Hines pipes and the Sissy Bar (LOL 🤣)??? ALWAYS chuckle about the name Sissy Bar! 🤣
I told you before that I will be picking up my new 2023 Harley Davidson Fatboy 114 (Vivid Black) for my birthday on August 8th, so I want to get everything in place to purchase the new things that I want to install.
I also want to buy the clear turn signal lens covers and a few other things, but I will get a bit at a time. So happy that the time is coming, as it's been far too long since I had my 1991 HD Low Rider Custom. This will be my dream come true, since I've finally settled down since flying internationally. LOL 😂
    Drive safe, brother! 🙏😮

Also, I think revzilla and JP Cycles also sells the exhaust. My dealer ordered exhaust for me and they used Drag Specialties as the supplier but it says they are currently out of stock. When I got mine they said it would be 2 weeks until back in stock but it came in only a week. Thanks again and please keep in touch!

@@OkieTwister66 Thank you so much, brother! One thing I am worried about is the warranty. Does replacing your exhaust void your warranty? I heard that if you use clamp ons that it doesn't, but the complete replacement because of the emission system does. Is that true or false?

    • @OkieTwister66

@av8r6969 you're welcome. Dealer installed mine and I was told warranty is still good. Since it is a full exhaust and the air fuel mixture changes, You will need to have them flash/tune the bike after install. Always verify with the dealer before you do the mod. 🤙

Loved the video. I have a 22 Fatboy myself with the same setup (sissybar / holdfast).
Have you ever done saddlebags on a Fatboy with the holdfast with the sissy bar? For the life of me can’t see how it will fit as yours looks like mine.

So far I really love this bike. No I have not done saddlebags on the fatboy but had them on my Heritage, but they were hard mount. I have wondered if the detachable bags used the same docking kit as the siasy bar but I have no clue. For now I have some other parts on priority but if they will work with the same docking kit, I may consider them at some point down the road. Thanks for the comment and for watching 🤙

It is the standard. When I was looking they only offered the short one on black. They did not have short chrome even listed.
