I'm sure they take considerable time to create. You were flying with F22Hunter on your Sunday Twitch stream and he was having difficulty getting a Lambert Medal. It took me five tries, first 2 times with the XP-44, then 2 times with the P-40N, and finally going back to the XP-44 to get the perfect map + bots + red team players for a 765 capture points battle. Having 2 500lb. bombs is a bigger plus than maneuverability. Superiority is definitely not desired. With the tier VII change earlier this year it's not surprising that there is a greater chance of getting a 7/6 battle than a 6/5 battle when flying a tier VI plane.
Thank you! The videos have become a bit of a monster to create, taking 1½ days or thereabouts excluding the time taken for 25 battles in the performance evaluation. This one in particular was rushed because the WoWp team didn't give me much time to test the 'Betty' when they changed its characteristics two days before the event started. They'd also requested specifically that I test it in a basic configuration with a relatively inexperienced crew, so I didn't get to fly the specialised plane that much, nor work on the best angles for defensive fire. Still, there's a lot of good stuff in the video. F22Hunter got the Lambert first time of trying after the stream!

I happened to encounter you Friday morning (EST or DST as it is now in Florida) and won a tier 8 battle against you precisely because my flight partner (Dory) was flying his B-29C as he does every morning for many battles and flipped sectors faster than I could in my Spitfire XIV. I am in total agreement with you that the high tier bombers are massively OP and need nerfing but sadly the WoWp programming team doesn't seem to care for "fair and balanced" in WoWP or any of their games. We only have to look at WoT to see how Wg only cares about a last cash grab with all the premium P2W tanks that render the tech tree tanks useless before they stop any new development in that game and just have a skeleton crew maintenance team to keep the game servers running. It's sad to see this happen with these fun games. So far Wg hasn't destroyed using the tech tree planes by doing a cash grab here with premium (for cash) planes that are OP, and let's hope you can successfully communicate with the WoWp dev team in a way that motivates them to make much needed balance changes and a major MM update to assign players to teams using our statistics to set up much better human player sides. The "dumb and blind" simplistic MM code that creates the 12 plane teams is pathetic.

About your comments in your Twitch stream (2 days ago) that your video card may be on it's last legs. My best friend read an article a few weeks back saying that many video card manufacturers are using poor quality heat sink compound (or TIM = thermal interface material). His Dell computer was crashing Windows 10 Pro many times a week. So he bought some high quality thermal paste, carefully disassembled his video card to remove the GPU heatsink, cleaned off the old stuff, and applied the new heat sink compound. He carefully re-assembled the heatsink and cooling fans and plugged the video card back in. Going on 2 weeks now with no game or Windows crashes and he pushes his video card hard with FPS games many times a week. So I can conclude from his experience that his AMD GPU was overheating some of the time and causing Windows 10 to crash.
One day! I should think it will be on the SM.91. Currently, I have less time than previously so something has to give for now. I hope to be producing videos more frequently in the future.

How about shorter videos on a single topic, like once your plane is spotted, how long does it take before it goes dark on the Minimap, etc. That's a very important question.

I also use defensive accessories. There are many blind spots in the defense machine gun, so I need to move the fuselage position to achieve the attack.

Slava Ukraini! If only the game worked like that. The game starts with everybody manoeuvring in turn fights, an approach with which you can stick throughout the game. However, turn fighting rarely if ever wins battles in high tier games. I'd suggest you aim to acquire the tier 5 fighter, the Bf 109 E, which is powerful and will force you to think about using energy (speed and altitude) rather than just spinning like a top. I'd recommend you don't rush up the tiers. Try as much as you can to play across the tiers and learn what the different classes of aircraft do.
@@TheNobleQ Heroyam Slava! Thank you for your advice! But I was already in a bit of a hurry and opened a level 7 bf 109 G and a level 5 bomber, also German. I've been playing for about 3 weeks and even at level 7 I almost always get into the top 3 on the team:) I just want to perform combat missions, but many missions require a high level, such as the 100k damage mission, it takes a long time to perform it at a low level. Well, at least I seem to be able to play on the bf 109 g, it seems to me that this is not the most powerful aircraft at this level, maybe I'm wrong)
Some of the missions in marathons are long, hard work in aircraft below period 3, or sometimes below tiers 9 & 10. Probably, it's done that way intentionally to encourage players who may not have planes at high tiers to spend money on certificates. The Bf 109 G can be made to work, but its mixed and somewhat average armament means it's not a strong plane. However, the next three in the line are good - Me 209 A, good - Me P.1092 and excellent - Me P.1101. You've chosen a good line to go up.

Oh, how my Uncle Charles, deceased, would have loved this game... trained on the early jets, with the RAF, in Canada, in the early '50s, and more that I can't say. He was into PCs, but passed ten yrs before we had this game. He spent a number of his retirement years as a guide at Brooklands Museum. 🧑✈
My father was in the RAF (but not as a pilot). I was able to show him this game in his declining years and, for a while, we talked about producing these videos. He died last year and, as much as I miss him, I have to say probably that was a blessing in disguise.

Oh boy here we go, a new bomber, and its tier 7 no less! I will say, it doesnt seem to be as powerful as I first feared. Though, I'm not sure how I feel about a bomber with pretty good defensive armament and such a short reload time. Even if the bombs themselves are not powerful enough to wipe a target with one bomb alone. I'll probably still activate the mission, though I dont plan to go as hard for this as I went for the Corsair :)
Chaps - in case any of you are having the same issues as me, with loading and playing this game, using W11 and an AMD GPU: Be aware, Windows Game Bar, and any Game Bar add-ons, will kill this game, at least in my experience, so far. Even If you've disabled Game Bar in Settings, but your game launches with no props on your planes, or weird stuff going on with the airfield graphics, don't try to play or it will crash. You will need to open Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC), and from here, close any WoWP apps currently open then close any Game Bar apps you can see. When starting or restarting WoWP from the Game Centre, keep Task Manager open, and scroll up & down to spot Game Bar sneaking in again, while WoWP starts up. AS SOON AS YOU SEE THE GREEN GAME BAR ICION APPEAR, IMMEDIATELY RIGHT CLICK / END TASK IT! If you do this quickly enough, you will be able to run the game properly.
That's a personal variant of the 'Who's The AI Bots?' mod, the difference being I remove the names entirely, whereas the standard mod merely prefixes them with an asterisk.

@@digitace2003 You can't edit the .MO files directly. You have to convert them to .PO files first. A utility like POEDIT can do that for you. You can edit a .PO file in POEDIT, but I don't think you can add a translation. However, that's easy to do if you open a .PO file in Windows Notepad, for example. Just be careful that you know what you need to add and not to remove or change anything already in the file. Once your .PO file has been changed, you can export it to .MO format and replace the original .MO file with your new one. It's all a bit fiddly, so bear with me whilst I go through the process for myself making sure I've got the right text in all areas of the UI.

It can indeed. I had limited time to capture a reasonably good demonstration of the plane's capabilities; that was one I didn't manage to include. This was a seriously rushed video, unfortunately.
and the statistics include how much you spend on aircraft per year ? How much can you pay per battle . How much gold do you have to buy to fly that wells ?
I'm more or less done with spending money on the game, though I've spent a fair bit on premiums in the past. I buy some of the camouflages for specific planes. These are actually bonuses in bundles where the primary item is 5,000 gold. That said, the majority of the gold on the account comes from free crates and as mission rewards, that is, it cost me nothing. I'd estimate at most that I spend £250 a year on the game now. Gold has nothing to do with skill, which I think you know.

No, not in the way that the sister games World Of Tanks and World Of Warships are. On the EU server there's a reasonable sizeable population at prime times, less so on the NA server and the ASIA server is thinly populated.
Kinda of a letdown. Not so much the plane itself but the fact that is tier 7 (tier 8 is more popular thus, you are mostly at a disadvantage) and it doesn't offer alternatives (like bomb loads, it's like a Japanese Tu-2, BORING). A wasted opportunity to get the G5N1 or the G8N instead at tier 8...😢 Thanks for the video!

If you feel that Japan has launched too few aircraft, indeed compared to other countries, there are really very few Japanese aircraft. It is not an exaggeration to launch level 8 gold coin aircraft.
@@夜神阿斯A little variety won't hurt. The G5N1 didn't have a strong defensive armament, but it had an insane bomb load. The G8N on the other hand had very strong defensive armament but poor bomb load...so either option is not really as broken as the B-29, so why not?

Unfortunately this game is in low maintenance mode and codes are issued very infrequently. I haven't any currently. If you've installed the game via Steam I believe there are free DLCs and some very cheap ones that may be worth investigating.

It will and, in that scenario, it's likely you will lose unless your team successfully hounds the RB-17. The same goes for the B-29C.

The way I play it, it's not that powerful. I'm going to be interested in what FallenAngel016 / Sniperson can do with it.

It can indeed. I had limited time to capture a reasonably good demonstration of the plane's capabilities; that was one I didn't manage to include.

I'm more or less done with spending money on the game, though I've spent a fair bit on premiums in the past. I buy some of the camouflages for specific planes. These are actually bonuses in bundles where the primary item is 5,000 gold. That said, the majority of the gold on the account comes from free crates and as mission rewards, that is, it cost me nothing.
I'd estimate at most that I spend £250 a year on the game now.
Gold has nothing to do with skill, which I think you know.
@@TheNobleQ One Russian player wrote to me . Buying gold on the WG platform leads to bankruptcy. Poor Russians can't use Google Maps and don't know that Ukraine is a country . I was banned for describing a new tactic. The Russians fight drones with a helmet throw . In piles development of the throw in F 16 .... I don't buy anything from WG and I'm not bankrupt .

One of the controls is for "pitch up". Assign a key or button to it and use it to make the plane climb.

No, not in the way that the sister games World Of Tanks and World Of Warships are. On the EU server there's a reasonable sizeable population at prime times, less so on the NA server and the ASIA server is thinly populated.
Kinda of a letdown. Not so much the plane itself but the fact that is tier 7 (tier 8 is more popular thus, you are mostly at a disadvantage) and it doesn't offer alternatives (like bomb loads, it's like a Japanese Tu-2, BORING).
A wasted opportunity to get the G5N1 or the G8N instead at tier 8...😢

If you feel that Japan has launched too few aircraft, indeed compared to other countries, there are really very few Japanese aircraft. It is not an exaggeration to launch level 8 gold coin aircraft.
@@夜神阿斯A little variety won't hurt. The G5N1 didn't have a strong defensive armament, but it had an insane bomb load. The G8N on the other hand had very strong defensive armament but poor bomb load...so either option is not really as broken as the B-29, so why not?
Okay, so at least you know not to invest time in grinding for it now and that's one of the aims of the video.
I think they'll use the B-29C. This won't supplant it, I'm pretty sure.

Unfortunately this game is in low maintenance mode and codes are issued very infrequently. I haven't any currently. If you've installed the game via Steam I believe there are free DLCs and some very cheap ones that may be worth investigating.
