The opposite actually. Chicago could’ve been HER team. The first half of the season they tried to play through her a lot. She’s not a run her own team type of guard. She fit Connecticut so well because they already have everything else. She just have to play a scoring role
@@FlvckoAntexactly right. She’s a perfect fit in that third or fourth role on a team. Especially the sun who needed better guards! I’ve been so angry they never went out and got better guards. Such a let down to AT and DB (and Brionna Jones) to waste these years of contention. I wanted them to get Skylar Diggins-Smith but I like this move

@@isiahmossiah3264 they always had good guards but their guards usually had a defensive background and by the time they turned 2 way they were not on the team or other pieces were not available for the team....DJ and tye were great additions that give them a serious run for the title but now with mabrey the complete team is balanced because if they need additional scoring (without sacrificing alot on the defensive end) they can use mabrey)....CT really got a serious squad this year thank the most high lol

Mabrey did fantastic for her first game with the suns 🌞 I hope she keeps this up though. That’s the real tea.
She wasn’t the inconsistent one in Chicago. That was the narrative. The entire organization is inconsistent they just used her as a scapegoat.

Mabrey found her a better role suited for her AT, Bonner and CT completely overwhelmed Dallas. Lot of teams was in the same scenario that Dallas was at so
just recover and prepare for the next game.

Alyssa Thomas could easily have more Triple Double Games if she was a STAT padding Blank like some Chosen One type Players. She is almost averaging nearly Triple Doubles for the Year. At the age of 32. Also, this is just more proof that the Dallas Player did not belong on the US Olympic SQUAD. Dallas also gets back their other STAR player and they still get their Doors Blown off.

she did but she can also be streaky....but the big thing with chicago is she was asked to be a 3 and help alot on defense...she did a solid jobs at times and got beat for whatever reasons at times....Connecticut was just the better situation for marina ....we all knew it and for chicago it was best for them to part ways with marina

@@Yslquan their team building strategy is confusing. They have so many bigs and not enough minutes. Sabally should be playing the 4 not the 3 and Howard the 5 not the 4. They have to trade one of their bigs I think and get a real PG who can settle the offense down

AT can't make a midrange shot and when she takes one, it just looks awful. Very limited and overrated player.
According to ESPN, Thomas is playing with torn labrums in both shoulders, injuries she has been dealing with for well over a year. She currently can barely lift her arms above her head due to the damage. Therefore, it was necessary for her to adjust her shot into the "awful" thing you noted.

So D'Janai took time off for 'personal reasons'. She is probably upset that the Sun signed Mabrey. D'Janai is one of two women in the WNBA with attitude problems big enough that it negatively affects the team; the other being Chenedy Carter. The biggest advantage of D'Janai is that she is easy to identify when watching her on tv because of her hair, but her attitude is horrible.
