Simba Cement Factory to boost production and lower prices

Uganda's Cement Industry is on motion to became one among the top mineral processors in the country perhaps behind oil and gas, within the next two years. Simba Cement has just been commissioned by President Yoweri Museveni, reveals that they are expanding their capacity through an additional $17m over the next 12 months.
The entry of the 750,000 Metric Ton capacity of Simba, brings to 5 Cement processing plants in the country, which has seen the unit cost of the product drop to 26,000 per bag on average.
