The Young Lady in question is Courtney Cox. She is an actress, she's famous for friends, but has done movies & a ton of TV. This is her first appearance. This music video allowed her to be discovered. After all of these years, she's still asked about this video on talk shows.
Courtney Cox!!! One of my favorite videos from my childhood. My beloved grandmother was a huge fan and I can remember dancing with her in her living room to this is good ol 1985!! She loved him!! Miss her so very much!!❤❤❤
He's known as The Boss by his fans. Incredible live shows! His music ranges from folk/singer-songwriter to Rock. I recommend his songs Born in the USA and Ghost of Tom Joad (Rage Against The Machine covered this and made it a hit song as well).
The Boss is LEGENDARY. I finally got to see him live myself this spring and at 73 the man had more energy and did a 3-hour show -- which for him was a short night. "Born To Run" - you HAVE to react to that. The song that put him on the map in '75.
Bruce consistently sold out venues around the world. His live Barcelona concert is a treat to watch. The E Street Band he played with (Clarence Clemmons on sax) was special. He wrote almost all of his music and some hits for others. He is a legend and one of the most revered artists of our time. Affectionately called "The Boss" by his fans. Introduced into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Bono (from U2). He did a fantastic live solo accoustic Broadway production of his life/music that was filmed and shown on Netflix (must see). He has a massive catalog of superb music with so many hits. He is a master at emotive storytelling through his music.
The Boss! I’m a Jersey Girl! Born To Run seems to be a reactor favorite.. I LOVE I’m On Fire.. Glory Days will make you smile.. He won an Oscar for Streets Of Philadelphia from the movie Philadelphia w Tom Hanks (1st of 2 back to back Oscar’s) & Denzel Washington.. One of the best movies ever made.. & SUPER important
I have been a Bruce fan since 1974 and have seen him in concert many times over the last 40+ years. Most concerts back in the day were over 4 hours long, these days around 3. Most energetic fun concerts you would ever see!! He has over 20 albums. Some of my favs: Jungleland (RIP Clarence Clemons, best saxophone solo of all times), Born to Run, Rosalita, Thunder Road, Land of Hope and Dreams, and about 100 others. He is my all time fav. Can’t believe you are serious when you say you have never listened to any of his music ☹️ I would suggest live version of Born to Run, the cover of Staying Alive in Brisbane Australia, or The Ghost of Tom Joad with Tom Morello (from Rage Against the Machine )
I saw him in '74 back in high school. One of the few performers I can saw are better live, than the studio. They don't can him the BOSS for nothing. His work with Roy Orbison on Black and White Night is awesome.
Bruce is dancing the "Carlton" here before it became the Carlton. The actor who played Carlton on Fresh Prince got the inspiration from this performance.
You first saw Bruce in the video of "We Are The World" ..he is the one singing with Stevie Wonder toward the end. Check out " Born in the USA"....that's one of my favorite songs of his. The Lady is the actress Courtney Cox. She was in the tv show " Friends" Bruce is from Asbury Park, New Jersey,....a shore town with a great boardwalk....at least it was back in the 60's and 70's. I haven't been back there since then. Bruce has a bunch of hits for you to listen to. You have only just begun. You might want to revisit "We Are The World" now that you have listened to so much music from back then. You will recognize more of the singers now.. Reaction channels listen to it early on ( because it is highly recommended, but most don't recognize very many of the people who are singing) Love your channel, your reactions and your personality..
Bruce is a legendary performer. Not only does he fill Arenas and Stadiums but he will perform non-stop with high energy every show for 3.5 hours. I know some superfans who have been to 80+ shows and its always fresh and new. One of the best Front Men of all time ranking along side Jagger and Freddie Mercury. And his E Street Band is legendary and IMHO rates higher as a backing band then either Queen or the Stones.
That video was shot in my hometown of St Paul MN. Unfortunately we were at the next night's show! 3 sold out shows and our night he played for 4 and a half hours! 5 hours the night before! Btw after this album he was at stadiums and not just sports arenas! For those who say he didn't play that long - well, we were there and it WAS that long, with no warmup band either!
The woman in the video is Courteney Cox. She plays Monica on Friends. And she is also in the Scream movies. Saw Bruce live this year in Amsterdam. 73 years old and still killing it, for 3 hours straight! The man is an absolute legend!! Other great songs of his are: Born In The USA The River Glory Days My Hometown Streets Of Philadelphia Born To Run
I just saw him live for the 12th time last year at a sold-out show in Tampa the first time I saw him live was on my 17th birthday in 1977. He can still rock!
Bruce and Stevie Wonder sang off each other in the USA For Africa video. They were Great! Go back and remind yourself you'll enjoy it even more this time. The girl is from Friends, Courtney Cox.
Bruce was truly The Boss! Also, I don’t think anyone has mentioned, the E Street Band is one of the best; Max Weinberg was his awesome drummer, who was also the bandleader for Conan O'Brien on Late Night & The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien.
Bruce is an awesome rocker! Still releasing songs! Legendary performer, for sure, that’s why they call him ‘The Boss’!❤❤ Another great reaction AB! I really enjoy seeing you boppin’ and having fun!❤️❤️👏👏
I grew up with this man's music I absolutely love him . Another great reaction AB❤ Courteney Cox was just a baby then she is absolutely adorable... Loved her on Friends.. Born in the USA was one of his biggest hits.. She was in the first scream movie..
Bruce sang beside Stevie Wonder in the video " We are the World." His voice was so gritty and was the perfect blend with SW. I do believe you have already reacted to that video.
Bruce is still touring & just came out with a new album & book recently as well. He is known as 'The Boss' but on Steven Colbert earlier this year said he hates it, but knows he's stuck with it. What I did not know until today is that he has written 101 books!!!! He is in the Songwriters Hall of fame (written at least 79 songs) & the rock & roll hall of fame, as well. He is a GOAT of rock & roll, from Jersey & is loved by all. And that was Courtney Cox from the TV show 'Friends'. Bruce pulled her from the audience & that is how she got discovered. She was just a fan like everyone else there.
The lady on stage with Bruce at the end is Courtney Cox. This video is what got her noticed then guest starred on Family Ties as Lauren in the late 80's then she starred in FRIENDS as Monica Gellar 1994-2004.
Probably Bruce's most iconic and ironic song was "Born in the USA", you should react to that. Honorable mention "Glory Days", and if you are feeling festive "Santa Clause is Coming to Town", with the Boss spin.
I can not say I connect with Bruce Springsteen's songs yet there are a few I really like. I saw him in concert and have to say it was in the top 5 concerts of my life (and I have been to a lot). His energy kept me on my feet the whole time. It was great!!
This video isn't actually from a concert. It was just to record this music video for this song. The audience other, than the actress, were basically extras aware there would be multiple takes of the one song. The actress, Courteney Cox, would go on to stardom playing Monica in the Friends, and the reporter in the Scream movie franchise among many other roles.
BRO, I think it was Rolling Stone magazine, back when it still was considered an excellent source for music and musical artists, that named his song, "Born To Run", as one of the best Rock anthems ever! Bruce has an extraordinary amount of energy when he plays to his Live concerts, and he's been known to keep the crowds screaming and entertained for hours at a time! Please react to: "Born To Run" "Jungleland" "Badlands", my favorite identity song. He does have an entire catalogue of hits, most of them Solid Gold!
Bruce is a kind person and generous individual. In 2003 he came [on his own dime] along with many other rock stars to help Warren Zevon make his farewell album. "The Wind". You see in August 2002 Zevon was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and given 3 months to live. He lived 11 months and his friends came to help him put the album together. The album was release 2 weeks prior to Warren's death. He knew it was out, and also lived long enough to meet his twin gransons. Here's Bruce's colaboration with Warren in the studio recording Disorder in the House. th-cam.com/video/GaCE3hle2Cs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=QqZavSLllZYVLaVT
@BrianJohnson-wv9nh. My hockey buddy used to work for those concert venues at St. Paul. He always said, of all the concerts he's had a chance to see, Bruce Springsteen was the most memorable. He performed every song with all the energy he had, and the audience loved him!
@@JamesJohnson-ig6of I camped out all night in front of the Dayton"s store in downtown Mpls. to get tickets to that show. He played it twice in a row to get the shots director Brian De Palma wanted for the video. Totally worth it.
@@BrianJohnson-wv9nh I wished I could've seen him "live" too! I don't hang out much around big cities, but I had to take some tests for the Army. I talked my Sergeant into letting me stay a day longer, because Elton John was scheduled for the St. Paul Civic Center that next evening. I'm a singer and musician and Elton was and still is a genius piano player! I hear Bruce still performs at a reduced schedule.
This is long before she became a a famous actress, her manager purposely put her in the front hoping Bruce would interact and she would be recognized and get Studio Offers...it worked, this was basically Fate !!!
The formula doesn't change. Two celebs are seen together to create a buzz to increase their celebrity status. You know like the NFL player and Taylor Swift. It increases their brand.
Bruce Springsteen is good friends with my favorite president-- Barack Obama. They have a podcast together and wrote a book called Renegade together-- two of the coolest guys on the planet! I like Bruce's 80s work a lot, but it can't touch his 70s work-- Jungle Land, Born to Run, Growin' Up, Rosalita, etc.
💖💖💖 This is a great song! And one of his sexiest videos! Christmas is coming, check out his version of "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" (2007), it's one of my got to listen to Christmas songs.

Bruce is still selling out around the world. He's on tour again next year (2024) and is still fantastic. Go.
That is a young Courtney Cox from friends.
But, he pulled her out of the audience at random....😮
Yep.😊
That is soo awesome, Courtney Cox from friends omg, how good is that, she is so young n pretty❤
Tighter than ur best friends handshake! Should be on a t shirt, love it!
@juliacrabtree no he didn't it's a VIDEO.
That's Courtney Cox from FRIENDS, Cougar Town, and she was in Ace Ventura Pet Detective with Jim Carey.
Scream movies too
The Young Lady in question is Courtney Cox. She is an actress, she's famous for friends, but has done movies & a ton of TV. This is her first appearance. This music video allowed her to be discovered. After all of these years, she's still asked about this video on talk shows.
She was discovered. That's why she's there
Clarence Clemons - Saxophone...... legend. Died in 2011 and since then his nephew Jake plays sax for Bruce's band. "E Street Band"
Courtney Cox!!! One of my favorite videos from my childhood. My beloved grandmother was a huge fan and I can remember dancing with her in her living room to this is good ol 1985!! She loved him!! Miss her so very much!!❤❤❤
You have unlocked a deep deep rabbit hole of great songs!
Mediocre tune
He's known as The Boss by his fans. Incredible live shows! His music ranges from folk/singer-songwriter to Rock. I recommend his songs Born in the USA and Ghost of Tom Joad (Rage Against The Machine covered this and made it a hit song as well).
Please continue the Bruce rabbit hole!!
I like his born in the U.S.A.
This is a great American rock song from the 80s
The origin of the Carlton Dance!!

Somewhat agree, I have - Freddie at 1, Steve Perry #2, Bruce 3rd, Steven Tyler number 4, and Ozzy at 5, all ahead of Jagger.
He sells out stadiums to this day
Bruce Springsteen - Cover Me and Glory Days and Born to Run

Love it! Love seeing you learn about old school music. Bruce turned 74 years old this year, this was from his heyday during my era!

Glory Days, Brilliant Disguise, I’m on Fire would also be great ones to try next!
Bruce has so many good songs. You are obligated to do Thunder Road and Born to Run which are masterpieces from the 70s.
When he met Springsteen, Obama said "I'm the President, but you're the Boss".
Probably Bruce's most iconic and ironic song was "Born in the USA", you should react to that. Honorable mention "Glory Days", and if you are feeling festive "Santa Clause is Coming to Town", with the Boss spin.
The three way conversation between your audience and Courtney Cox was my favorite part of this reaction. Thanks for your videos; they're always good.
IMHO "I'm on fire" is his best song. Video is cool too.
I can not say I connect with Bruce Springsteen's songs yet there are a few I really like. I saw him in concert and have to say it was in the top 5 concerts of my life (and I have been to a lot). His energy kept me on my feet the whole time. It was great!!

Watch Born To Run music video!!
It's The Boss! Play more! Great reaction!
You REALLY need to redo We Are The World 🌎 now. Your first time is classic but now you know a lot more artists.
This was in St. Paul Mn.

THAT'S COURTNEY COX...SHE PLAYED "MONICA" ON THE SHOW "FRIENDS"!😃❤
If you think this has energy then you ain't ready for Born To Run. The girl is Monica from Friends.
You will also recognize him in the Video USA For Africa...singing together with Stevie Wonder.
This is long before she became a a famous actress, her manager purposely put her in the front hoping Bruce would interact and she would be recognized and get Studio Offers...it worked, this was basically Fate !!!
You have got to check out his souped up version of "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town." You will not be disappointed.

Awesome reaction!!!
Courtney cox. She was in friends and the scream movies.
It was Courtney Cox, she was on friends. She was not well known before Bruce pulled her up on stage.
Bruce is still active. Check out his new song nightshift. It prdmieted on the jimmy fallon show. He is 73 years old now.

There was a movie made that uses his music- “Blinded By the Light.”
she starred in the Movies Scream, also 2 and 3......
Glory Days is another good one.
"She been on TV" :))

Sex appeal…he had it nailed down😳
And I’m 71!!

I like this song, but he has a deeper catalog that is very different. This song and video was made for commercial success and it worked! Love the Boss, he is still performing!
Friends TV Show
what about it?
