Then at the table that night she twisted around in her seat to sneeze so hard that she felt the rib pop again. Poor thing had to get ice to put on it during the break and was in pain every time she laughed, and for the rest of the night Liam was trying to comfort her whenever she was hurting and giggling at the same time. Again, I might be mixing up episodes though.

I also remember a moment during the All Work no Play episode where they did fire spinning with Marisha, at one point Liam explains that he's "never been more of a dad" than when he was watching them get fire near their faces and he goes like "not my babies, not my babies, it's too soon", it starts around 28mn (Liam is such a sweetie). Another small one is at 2:14:45 of ep 6 of Mighty Nein, Sam says which path Nott goes, and Laura says she knew it, and Sam goes "I love you", I found it sweet. This is something so unique about Critical Role: this is first and foremost a group of friends that just let us in on their home game. That’s the base of it. It’s not about the incredible production (though the production is definitely incredible), at the base of it, the thing that made it succeed so much even in the “sharpie rectangles on paper and kinda shitty webcam” era, is the heart. The love and kindness and care we get to be let in on.
These people are the siblings we all wish we had, the best friends who can brighten our days, and prove that true love (both platonic and romantic) exists. I may not know them, but that can't stop me from loving them
