Coalition governments is best form of government if and only if MPs are educated and wise. Not just giving 70% budget money to the states where your allies are in power.
India's growth is always higher during coalition govts. As an oldie, I knew this, but got recent confirmation from recent episode of Cut the clutter by Shekhar Guptha, who compared several groups of years with different govts. His reasoning is that with coalition govts, misadventures like demonetization,hasty GST etc will never occur because major decisions are taken after due consultation and never by just one man. In coalition governments of the much criticized Deve Gowda and even Gujral of United Front, major laws on human rights were effected. The dream budget of Chidambaram occurred during UF govt. Very often, stability of strong govts is the stability of the grave of the common man
