At one point I was more in your corner, but as the owner of a 68 firebird that I’ve been building, and now running at the track I pushed the wheel size to the biggest 15” I could stuff under there because I needed bigger freakin brakes. I could use bigger still as breaking ability impacts top speed on a track arguably as much as launch capability. The other factor with the low profile tires is with that short of a sidewall, you get less lateral flexi on on the corners..ie: stiffer=better cornering at higher speeds…I’ve seen a bead roll off on a corner…it’s dramatic… (sub-optimal as my boss useta say!!) So basically I’ve developed more tolerance for the look as as a function of my performance needs and understanding, not for style itself. But then, that’s where styles hit the consumer market….where they not really needed, so you get all kinda strange shit driving down the road… like low profile tires on Escalades or some shit like that… same thing that puts spoilers on street cars, and some of them look absolutely ridiculous imho…lol
Very Nice Old Car
Beautiful! 360° perfection inside and out. Thanks for sharing.
meravigliosa pantera
I think originally they put a 351 Cleveland in that car.
Original , asi es como debe ser un Pantera , sin modificaciones esteticas.
Now that is bite the back of your hand beautiful ❤❤❤
Optik 👍
interior, seats need new cushions. Cost very little to do. Can update the dash to 74 model. Then you would have a 100-plus car.
Huge modern wheels on an old car. Not sure if I like that - low profile tyres aren’t my cup of tea
