A tip for filling your iPad stands, if I make anything I need to stuff I just get a two pack of pillows from PRIMARK for £4.50 way cheaper than wadding and does exactly the same job 😜

That plastic, grippy stuff for your foot pedal? It is awesome for gripping hard to open jars. You can find patterns on Pinterest to make them. The grippy stuff is sold as shelf liner on my side of the pond. A practical, useful gift.

Gentle Suggestion on keeping your Juki foot petal from sliding. I adhered 4 felt furniture slides, with adhesive backing. It was simple and has kept my foot petal in place for several years. Some great ideas there Ruan, you've inspired me! I've already got plans to make Christmas t- shirts for my two grandchildren - a 3 yr old and a 6 month baby, so they should whip up pretty quickly. Thanks for the inspiration and hope you get time to make all those lovely gifts.
Ruan, I don't know if you have them in the UK but I use flexible plastic cutting mats for the bottoms of totes, they are super easy to cut with scissors and I would suggest using a circle of that inside the heavy interfacing. With interfacing if it gets folded it won't hold it's shape as well. The ones we get at the dollar store has two flexible mats in one package for $1.25 and usually they are clear or during the holidays they come in red and green too. I jumped over to their tutorial and came up with an idea. If you add three strips of the ridged interfacing or whatever to the bottom and sew between them length wise you could put a velcro tab on the front side of the last in the middle then fold it backwards to make a triangle and put a tab of velcro on the back of the holder and you will have a free standing card holder! I'm making a set for my father in law!! We play 5 Crowns and you have up to 13 cards in your hand at the end so these are perfect! You should make Tamlyn and Rachel the foot pedal stoppers and since you have them cut out for them...just saying! lol I'm going to make one for my Momma and one for me! hahaha!

That's exactly what I was thinking, but they might get lumpy or sag under the weight of the iPad. I think you'd either have to stuff them really full of fabric scraps or use mainly scraps to stuff it but finish it off with a bit of wadding. I’m sorry you’re feeling like that. There is absolutely no pressure at all to watch all the vlogs or take part. These are just vlogs for inspiration. If you think they don’t inspire you then you can choose not to watch them (I can’t watch every vlog from everyone I subscribe to so I pick and choose which ones I prefer for me at that time). Lots of people are loving all the challenges as it makes them feel part of a community and involved in something but if it doesn’t make you feel this way then you can obviously choose not to watch 👍🏼
Ruan, I hate to tell you but, I use a piece of the rubber mesh under my machine foot peddle. It works well with my wood flooring. I don’t think you need to go to the bother of making a fancy one. Just saying🙄🧵🪡🇦🇺

Lots of people are loving all the challenges as it makes them feel part of a community and involved in something but if it doesn’t make you feel this way then you can obviously choose not to watch 👍🏼

Ruan, I hate to tell you but, I use a piece of the rubber mesh under my machine foot peddle. It works well with my wood flooring. I don’t think you need to go to the bother of making a fancy one. Just saying🙄🧵🪡🇦🇺
