SPARKING BEYLAUNCHER BROKE IN ONE DAY! | Superking BeyLauncher L (B-166) Unboxing & Testing!

- We ordered a bunch of Superking BeyLauncher L versions to use and unbox, so we're HYPED that our left-spinning Beys can finally take advantage of this powerful launcher. Sparking/Superking BeyLaunchers are the COOLEST versions of any launcher that has come out from Takara Tomy, BUT we're seeing that ours are breaking very prematurely. We both started seeing issues with our respective Sparking BeyLaunchers after a few hours of battling with them. The outer shell for the string began fraying on BBG Brendan's launchers, which caused the inner string to fray as well. The outer shell sometimes bunches up and impedes the string from returning into the launcher. We also noticed that the string will basically tangle up INSIDE the launcher and cause the launcher to lock up when you're trying to pull. This happens consistently with BBG Steven's launcher, so he needs to "reset" his launcher after every round.
Are you BBGs noticing anything with your Sparking/Superking BeyLaunchers? Even though ours are breaking, we're not going to use any other launchers because these are definitely still the BEST.

I had my sparking launcher since may and after months of battling hard for hours my launcher remains as good as I got it. Also I saw that in the booklet that came with it they were specific on how to treat your sparking launcher so that might have been the case. Nevermind, mine just broke

We thought it was only us! We already broke TWO Sparking BeyLauncher (Red) recently that's why in our most recent Beyblade battle videos, we are using the GT LR Long String Launcher! We have the Sparking BeyLauncher (Blue) and it's working fine (for now) and it feels more durable or maybe we are just more careful because of the two that broke! We have a new Red Sparking launcher and me and my son are now very careful using it. Tip is DON'T USE YOUR FULL POWER with it (which sucks because of course you want to use full power sometimes). Nice video BeybladeGeeks! Road to 2 mil!

My brother and I have had several problems with our sparking launchers too, I really hope the team that designed these launchers see this video and fix these problems so I’m super happy the BBGs made this video.
First production products aren't really durable all the time. Remember Victory Valkyrie had that issue with the layer breaking? TT fixed that design and I think it got adapted to the Hasbro version.
literally day 1 of owning my Sparking Beylaunching R, I had to take it apart because it got caught.

We have 3 of R&L (cost around $20 ea at launch). What Steven said at 9:55 - Pull straight out on launch and let the slack wind straight back in. Don't let the string tip go when you launch (mentions this in the instructions) or things can get twisted inside. We had one get hopelessly stuck. I was pleased to note however that it takes down easily (vids of fixing the older launchers work for these). I was able to rewind and adjust the tension of the wind back and it's worked fine since.

I’ve taken apart and fixed my sparking launcher almost a dozen times now by replacing the string and putting the gear back in place because it falls out so easily.

I have been fixing my LR ripcord launcher for the past 1 year and it has broken and doesn't launch as strong but it's alright. Though I wish I had a sword launcher it is one of the most strongest launchers in the beyblade series besides the Sparking launchers, I like the digital sword launcher for 4 things it is really powerful, it is LR, it can tell your launching speed and it comes in blue and red two of my favourite colours, well that's my opinion I don't know if someone else likes the Sparking launchers but I like the sword launchers.

That's why I'm still sticking with LR launchers, because when I saw all the reviews about the power and sparks, i was excited but at the same time i was like, there's probably going to be a few problems. Also $50 is a lot of money

I would break it in one launch tbh I launch super hard which sprains my elbow alot lol but I quit blading cause I'm moving on to other things
I don’t want be a downer but I would recommend the L and R launcher from flare because it uses a rip cord instead of the string but it’s just my recommendation I’m sorry if this triggers anyone

I have actually had many issues with that launcher and I fixed the string by cutting my own string from nylon. If you guys need help I can customize your launchers.

Back when I was stupid and bought Hasbro, my dual launcher literally shattered inside. Lol. Now it is a broken weird chainsaw noise making yoyo. Only prob with TT launchers is having to reset the gear spring thingy.

Dang. That is just HARDCORE! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I had a somewhat similar situation that BBG Steven had. One of my prongs on my string launcher broke. I didn't even have a beyblade on. (IT CAME FROM AMAZON)
One tip in handling this style of Launcher: After you make a successful launch, do not let go of the string. It's one way to damage the string. After launching, slowly retract the string into the main body without releasing the string; only release the string when it's back in default position.
But then you’ll damage the coil that returns the string into the launcher if you reach the end and don’t let go

I know multiple languages so this isn’t the only channel that I watch BEYBLADE videos.I have seen youtubers from Taiwan and some of them explained how to prevent it.One way is to remove the metal rod inside of the launcher that causes friction with the string.(sry I’m late)

I always test my string (and sparking) launchers after every round to make sure they don't lock up. I haven't had any issues yet.
Is undeniable that new beylaunchers have issues. I follow several japanese "bladers" on twitter, and most of em showed broken sparking beylaunchers already. TakaraTomy have to fix this issue, retire the current model, fix it and "print" a new one, because, as you said, not everyone can afford several beylaunchers.

Hasbro made a way better one
This is why I usually prefer buying Hasbro products. Hasbro products are less intense to reduce wear and tear. For example, slopes instead of teeth don’t scratch and wear don’t the parts as much. Another example is plastic instead of metal. This reduces the impact, thus, reducing the damage done to the Beyblades. I don’t know about launcher quality so I may be wrong.

Agree. Sparking launchers are not really that durable. But I got three of them (2 RS & LS) and they have never gotten broken since buying them. Usually, people pull the string from the launcher and let it retract itself. I think the problem with this style is the latter. When I pull the string, I don't let go of it and let it retract itself inside after pulling. Instead, I pull it straight out as much as possible without letting it go, then put it back in slowly inside the launcher afterwards. I also dont let the string get bent after pulling it out or twist it to avoid getting jumbled ins and get tangled over time.

I'v had all the same issues that you are having when I first got my launchers.
Got two of each right and left.
First left launcher broke. String got caught inside would not come back out. Took it apart and was unable to put it back, it's got a lot of pieces!
Right one gets stuck sometimes.
Tip: don't pull it all the way out. Only do half launches. It will still be powerful enough like crazy. But will ensure more future use.
I got a message with mine that said do not pull to end of string and do not turn the bey on the launcher. Otherwise can risk damage to launcher.

This has happened to me also. Although it's not a Sparking launcher, it's a takara tomy launcher. My parents got this launcher along with a space box with BeyBlades for my older brothers birthday. Unfortunately (this is not a complaint), the launcher was left handed and was handed to me (cause I'm a lefty). I noticed that the more I pulled the string would rub against the launchers side, and would like saw the plastic launcher. The string caused damage to areas of the Bey launcher that I had to be careful with how I launch. Then about 2 weeks ago, the string stop pulling back in. It got stuck in one place. So I tried to see what to problems was but, (I'm not an expert, I'm only 12) I didn't really see any problems. Then when i closed it back together. The string was able to come out, but I had to manually go to the bottom of the launcher where to Bey goes, and reel it in. I had to keep doing this until my brother gave me a new launcher. All of this happened within 3 days. PHEW, I wrote a paragraph.
wait a second friction makes plastic melt, the launcher is really powerful, so that's the point! it makes a lot of friction and clogs.
This launcher must have been the easiest to break. The mechanism makes it so that it is attached to the ring at the top. The harder you launch it, the more friction that is generated. I am guessing that you guys were launching the Beyblade really hard and the ring generated so much friction, that the speed of the ring and string were at substantially different speeds that it was too much for the string to handle. This is purely speculation on my part though. A way I could see them fixing this is slightly increasing the space between the ring and the parts it’s rubbing against.
Either that, or the sparks burn up the strings. It's also possible that there're too much friction on the sparking mechanism.
LR launcher is the same too it breaks easily also normal string launchers

Honestly they are right about some unfortunate people who can only get 1 launcher and then this breaking the first day- especially on how expensive it is (I don’t know the prices in Japan) so if you want to go for a good launcher I advise the BEYBLADE BURST L R string launcher

When it comes to "string" it's called frayed/fraying. I also was never really much of a fan of string launchers, I prefer the plastic rip chords ( I have a strong launch that threatens to destroy string launchers ) plus a plastic rip chord is easier to replace especially whith 3D printers.

I hope they fix this issue, because they originally fixed a gear issue with the Cho-Z achilles LR launcher in the Master Diabolos LR launcher. These launchers are expensive as hell, so I hope they make them more reliable down the road.

I really want another string launcher because when I was in school last year my teacher cut my string part of my launcher in pieces so I couldn't use it and that launcher was soo good it could make beys extremely fast and it worked really good with any type of bey

Get the Hasbro Sparking launcher it's more durable, powerful, and LR. It's a ripcord launcher so you don't have to worry about your string breaking
The same issue with the string happened to my right spin long string launcher...
...That I got from the metal fusion 10th-anniversary set.
Luckily, I managed to fix it by replacing the string. But the issue with that was that the string was slightly thicker than the normal string and so I had to cut it short so it would launch properly.

I bought a sparking string launcher around a month ago, and it works perfectly fine still, I think y'all's issue is that you are pulling too hard, a string launcher at less strength if pull should be equal to a normal launcher, if pulled carefully, so...🤨
That's my issue with string launchers in general. You can't go all out with them, unlike ripcord launchers.

Tips for string launchers not to break easy:
Use the launchers when there are beyblade a in it (dont launch it when there are no beys

This happened to my Takara Tomy LR string launcher. It broke when i got it a month ago. I have to manually wind it up now
the problem is the sparks. the sparks in the sparking launcher might burn the sring and wear down the mechanism. i perfer taking the rods out that causes the sparks so it wont be adding too much friction.
