In today’s video, I share a glimpse into my life as a full-time history podcaster and content creator. I hope you enjoy it!

SLOW COOKER CHICKEN SOUP
Ingredients
6-8 thigh chicken thigh fillets
3 large carrots sliced
5 celery stalks sliced
1 onion chopped
2 x bay leaves
1 garlic clove
1/2-1 tsp of salt
Fresh ground pepper, to taste
Parsley, to taste
8 cups of chicken stock
Method
Add vegies and herbs to the slow cooker
Add chicken to the slow cooker
Cover with chicken stock
Cook on low for 8 hours
20mins out, add some noodles or soup pasta
Alternatively, cook this separately
Shred chicken
Serve with crunch bread!

Hello Natalie. Thanks so much for that very nice video, and for the podcast of which I never miss an episode. I was just wondering, I’m sure your fellow Australians are very familiar with the current members of the royal family, but is there much awareness over there of earlier royal eras? For example, are the Tudors etc taught in schools? Kind regards, Ian.
Great question, Ian! We don't learn about the Tudors in primary school here, which is why I really only discovered them in my late teens when I read a book called 'The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn'. In saying that, I think there's a growing interest in the Tudor period thanks to some recent TV shows and books.
