In the 90's - early 2000's they made shirts (like your purple preppy vest one) that was all one piece, no layers. Button up shirt collar and cuffs sewn onto sweater sleeves that were sewn onto a v neck sweater vest.

I like how you brought up small girls buying oversized things. When I go to shop people look at me so weird when I'm buying a size medium crop top, and it's interesting bcs they're all twigs. I'm decently skinny and 4'11, so usually I can wear smalls, jeans 4-6 depending on length usually. But with tops it's a lot harder, I have 34F cups. So when I buy shirts or any kind of top I always have to think about my boob size and if I need a small or a medium. And when I buy jackets I usually buy large ones to try and hide my breasts, as honestly... It scares me sometimes walking in public knowing how many pedos and rapists there are out in this world. But yeah, I'm so glad you brought up twigs buying plus sized clothing, bcs even if I don't buy full on "plus size," clothing I do have to buy mediums or larges in tops occasionally and it's definitely more difficult to find them.
