The 2nd greatest fighter of all time, Jon Jones, both his brother play in the NFL. If there were no mma, Jon would most likely be wearing pads. Of all the pro athletes, NFL stars are probably the best ones to make the transition into mma based on their strength and skillset.

The other DE (#79) deserves half the sack. The QB was rolling away from him because he is a monster...breaking double teams with a spin move. (I believe that is circle on playstation. Try it, it works.) I bet #79 was a breakout player in college.
I only watch MMA now but you're off in the head if you think anyone can be good at football. Yeah, maybe good at playing in the park after a bbq, but the guys who play in the NFL, esp the running backs, WR, and all the defensive guys are some of the best athletes in the world. Agility, strength, coordination, they have those in spades. pro soccer athletes are also superior athletes. Bc of the helmet, NFL players endure more concussions than any sport other than boxing.
