I feel the need to point out that for the flashback at 1:30:00 ish, the game saves every SINGLE armor choice you made to make the moment more real.

I heard from somewhere that the reason Shulk doesn't have taste (at the beginning) might be because he has been dead the whole time.

When I saw the last video titled, "The Truth", I skipped to the end to see how far you got, then stifled laughter like, "oh, he doesn't know the half of it!" :D
This is one of the best games and best plots of all time, especially because of those epic plot twists in this section. I never get sick of seeing people experience it for the first time.
Someone pointed out the "two voices in Shulk's head" thing, here's some other details you don't notice till you replay/rewatch:
- When Shulk rushes to grab the Monado during the mechon invasion of Colony 9, Dunban yells, "Shulk, no! It'll kill you!"
- When Meyneth saves your party in Sword Valley (before everyone falls to the arm below), Egil says something like, "What's this? ....The Monado?! It can't be!" The game switches over to show Shulk's Monado working again shortly after so you don't think anything of it, but it's pretty clear he's actually noticing Meyneth's Monado being unleashed.
- You probably did notice/remember, but Shulk's dream where he reaches for a piece of scrap metal, falls into the earth, then looks up to see another him say, "you're not here, not anymore" is him remembering his own death when reaching out to touch the Monado as a kid.
Also, if you go into the equipment menu for Fiora, under the Appearance list for weapons, you can choose Meyneth's Monado now, so her weapon looks like that.
Finally...I guess some things are still "gameplay spoilers" (if that's even a thing), so I'll just vaguely say....maybe do a whole lot of side quests in the Hidden Machina Village. There's some good rewards from them.... Remember to change the time to get all the quests and do that again periodically for any that become available after completing others.

That Plot Twists are really the best there exist. I LOVE watching people reacting to it! It´s awesome to see people experiencing that for the first time like I did myself. It´s so mindblowing and you just want to stop the game to process it, because you get overwhelmed with every new bit of story.

Yeah, now that I look at this scene agian when Shulk was talking with Alvis, he did something similar to kinda forge a bond or pact with what you do with blades in XB2.
Edit: Oh!?!! Since he forged a patch with Alvis, just means he can't exactly use the visions anymore but instead he sees what Rex has; Foresight. Then later he gets his visions back from the manado.

Alvis is the Monado (or rather, the source of the power of all Monado swords. From a Gnosticism perspective though, he's playing the role of the Monad). The physical swords are basically just representations of administrator access.
